  1. I have received my tracking number from BBTS for Hasbro version OP, But still no news from Blasto on my takara version.

There have been sightings of Hasbro OP at Kay-be toys in my area for 74.00.

If anyone hears anything from Blasto, please post something here. I have already passed up to auctions on a takara version near there price-point

I don't have experience with blasto.. but if I e-mail a question to BBTS I'll get a personal reply within 1 day or more.

  2. I saw one back in 1993 in a store in Holland... exclusive. It was dang too expensive... and 1 game is almost a half of a monthsalari... anyway the store went broke. :)

I love Art of Fighting.. with those anime sound and vis effects :)

It was probably one of those fewer games featuring zoom effects.

Cool level was the one with the "Guile" immitation :p Let's rock!

He also got this cool finishing move: down, downleft, left, punch.

6 lower kicks and one backswingpunch, enjoying in slomotion :D

And not to forget the funny beaten up faces at low HP.

The feel in neogeo fighting game isn't as good as capcom... mainly because of the soft hardpunch/kick sounds and the character feels lighter.

  3. what ratings would you peeps give to it's joints and fits? :)

(BTW are those metal wires? )

Leg and waist joints are racheted, all clicks into place. Joints are stiff enough. Smokestacks bend to accomodate the movement of the arms. Air vents on the legs opens up when the feet are pushed up.

The only thing I can see giving in in the long run is the back area which hides the head, it is only tolerance that is keeping it stable. Possible paint chipping on the gray paint on the sides, specially when you pull it out to bring down the tires. The other thing to watch for is the joint that you push to set it back to truck or robot mode, the metal connects to plastic. Lastly you might encounter the hole in Prime's right ear, it is not a defect :)

With those in mind it is still the best toy I got this year, heavy, huge, and poseable. I've transformed it numerous times and still no signs of wear and tare.

Lol i see on other galleries they included 2 plastic caps... so that's what they are for... :)
