The target at the westfield eastland mall in West Covina has tons of cobra paratroopers, bazooka troopers, tiger force dukes, mutt and junkyards and have been getting wave ten and 11 in pretty regularly. Still haven't found wraith, croc or zartan yet though

I actually have one extra black headed destro, but I am holding onto it to see if it's actually worth something. I also have two black suit Cobra Commander Exclusives from SDCC that I am doing the same with. Right now on eBay they are pretty close to normal price so you can probably get one there if you don't want to spend too much.

Has anyone had a hard time finding the black helmet variant destro two packs. I thought they were supposed to be difficult but the first sets they had in my area were 1 for 1.

I've used dullcote on three of my custom yamatos straight out of the can with no worries. My two cartoon versions and my Jetfire. All are fine. Try it for yourself. Mine stay out of the sun so maybe that has something to do with it.

Silver not chrome from what I remember. I will double check tomorrow, they are already in toy storage out in the garage.

Just got, Major Bludd, Tiger Force Flint, Roadblock, Baroness in Blue, Cobra Commander with crystals, hiss tank driver and snake eyes with parka. They had a ton of wave seven and eight out but still no vipers. The python patrol figs were pilfered already as well. The lady at the checkout said 30 minutes prior to me buying them someone else bought like three times as many figs. Guessing he got all the troop builders.

Got all of wave seven today minus the viper and hiss tank driver. All seem pretty cool with my least favorite being the Duke. Most of the last wave are easy to find here and there is an IG destro that has been on the walmart rack for like a week, no bad dings either. I'm guessing most of the collectors who had been hitting our stores have moved or just don't have the money to keep it up because the last 6-7 months here have been really easy prey.

To be honest I don't think people have had this idea because the jets themselves don't look much like Macross fighters. A lot of people, myself included have done Jetfire versions of Macross Valks because that is what the original Jetfire toy was made from. Since the Yamato versions are so much more detailed it looks like a transfomers Masterpiece version of the original Jetfire. I also think the boredom over no newly released 1/48 scale yammies had a bit to do with it too.

I've been making due with all the cool 1/48 military vehicles offered at WalMart, TRU and target. The hummers and tanks look good, and there are some cool John Deere equipment that could definitely work with a repaint. But, I gotta tell you the little bird helicopters just look out of place with all the macross stuff. They do have a 1/48 scale apache that looks pretty nice though.

Crankcase has a gun in his holster also, too bad it doesn't come out ;(. I just bought all three vehicles at our target. The DCPI number works. They acted like the ones I bought were the only ones they had in the back. When my buddy went back to get his after I called him they mysteriously had enough for him as well. Just so you all know, every single one of my boxes' plastic was badly dinged. It doesn't matter to me since I am getting them for my son to play with in a few years. For most collectors finding good quality boxes will be hard it seems.

My TRU exclusive 3 packs ran 9.99 each. Not sure if they will jump in price but that was what I payed for them.

Last night was a good one. I wandered into our Toys R Us to find the GI Joe and Cobra High Ranking officials packs. The crimson guard one is the only one I am missing. I was a little angry because I'd just missed the other pack by like five minutes. Some Ebay reseller walked out of there with like ten of them but left two of the three there. They have like ten of the five packs so I'm guessing they aren't going too high on Ebay.

Any chance he can get me one as well?

The nightwatch packs and the red ninja packs are just sitting at the TRU here in Santa Maria. Are they easier to find elsewhere yet or still a pain in the ass to get?

Just got both my Ley and Stick Megahouse today. Here is my experience. Transformed the Ley first, I had a big Scott Bernard Gakken in the day along with the smaller cyclones with the rotating bar that kept the armor on. Never had a problem with them. Hell I've never had a BP 8 or any other part of my Yamatos break, never had a problem with any of my Toynami's either. I'm very careful in transforming any new toy until I've gotten the hang of it. So what happens when i first move my Ley windshield, it breaks of course. Other then Leys armor falling apart multiple times while transforming and the windshield breaking off it looks pretty cool. Not many of the other problems mentioned on him. No stickers with him either. Then after about an hour to recuperate between the two I move onto the Stick transformation. Knowing how fragile Ley was I am being a thousand times more careful, if that is possible. Piece after piece keeps falling off, the windshield stays on this time but the side panel where the gas tank would be comes undone and the shoulder piece keeps popping out. The rib lock mechanism keeps popping off. and finally when I go to place the hip guards on I notice that I am missing a post to stick it on with. the piece that is meant to go there is gone. Nowhere in the package or anywhere near the area I am working on him. Now he is posed with his hand clamping it down to hold it in place. All in all I must say I am very disappointed with the quality of these. I originally ordered them when I heard so much bad about the CM's. I really didn't like the CM look either and I must say even after all of the problems though the MH armor looks so much nicer than the CM sitting on the shelf. As a toy though these things suck, as a cool mini statue in ride armor mode they are still pretty badass just too damn expensive.

If I get some time and noone else has put them up I might be able to do redraw them all in a vector based program and export a file for someone who has the ability to print them. I'll need to wait until my Megahouse cyclones come so that I can at least judge the sizing.

Finally got around to putting my Snake Eyes and Stalker variants on eBay. When sets are going for over 250 for the two I just couldn't sit on them anymore.

Was an awesome day today, had a great haul at TRU and WalMart. Picked up the destro/breaker to complete the 2 pack line for me and a Torpedo to finish the singles. Then at TRU I got a nice surprise in finding the 2 5 packs there. Picked up the Nightwatch and the Red Ninjas packs, all in all it was a successful hunt. Usually don't have that good of luck on the weekends.

Just got Rock n Roll, hope to get the other two tomorrow when more merch hits the floor.

Got 4 2 packs last night. Tomax &Xamot, Wild Weasel & Ace, CG & Scarface, and SE and SS. The only one I haven't been able to find yet is destro and breaker. Should be soon enough though since they are starting to show up more in force here.

Yeah, I'd noticed you had. I did some leg stripes because to me it just looked to plain without anything there. I needed to make some change to the area and I never really liked those weird black shape stickers that came with him. I also put black caps on the wingtips and tailfins. I switched the leg tailfin colors just because I thought it looked better with more red there.

Well they were on the Jetfire.
