i think since they released after strike valkyrie, bandai decided not to produce it...maybe...i'm not sure

Unfortunately the pictures were poorly lit and at angles that wouldn't show the rusted parts and the visor being scuffed up, etc., and the wheels were closed so that it didn't show the left leg wheel was missing. I can't tell if it's the same valk, but the one I received was not C9+ (he went so far as to list it as "New" Condition in the listing).

The one thing that I can definitely tell in his pictures is they clearly show that he had a styrofoam insert, which he swapped outright with a Joons insert. I'll definitely leave him negative feedback, I'm waiting to see how the PayPal thing turns out so I can include if I was completely ripped off or if PayPal solved the problem.

if you see the pictures again, there is one picture taken w/ valk inside the box, and if you see it closely, it is not a styro anymore, its a plastic, like joons the one you said.

about the wheels, i think probably seller also didn't know about it maybe...its yellowed, but seller using a flash to take the picture!

now i keep looking at mine, studying the pictures, scared there will be broken parts for fast packs, i hate this unsecured feeling!

Yes, I'm sure. All I can say is good luck. He has a lot of positive feedbacks on eBay, so maybe he pulls the bait and switch randomly and you might be OK. I hope things work out for you.

As for me, I should have checked the blacklist more carefully before buying from him. I'm in the dispute process with PayPal now...

just wondering, hows the picture that he put in ebay for your valk...is it looks mint? no damage or anything?

maybe he sent out wrong item? and i think u should give hime a negative feedback in ebay, atleast people know about it

Did you pay already? If dubious about the creditworthiness of a seller, perhaps you can ask seller to waive the sale/purchase by offering him to pay the PayPal fees (and a little extra if you have to). Sellers would often accept that and it's better than getting stuck with something you did not bargain for.

i did pay him, on the 9th or 10th sept, and he gave me tracking number on the 13th, atleast he sent out the items, now i only scared with the condition of the items.

I just got ripped off ($112) by tf3888 aka Mazinga2008 on eBay. I bought a 1/55 Takatoku VF-1J Hikaru in box from him. First, his description of a VF-1J was "mint in C-9+ clean condition, 100% original." I received a beaten up scuffed up dirty piece of crap with a missing wheel in the left leg and rusted metal parts.

Also, he swapped the original gun pod and missiles with Baindai reissues, and to add final insult to injury, he switched the Takatoku styrofoam box insert with a Joons plastic box insert.

I see now he's already on the list with another name, but could you list him in alphabetical order?

r u sure? i just won the strike valkyrie from him for $225, his description like promising me that i will get a super white strike valkyrie...

now i'm totally worried...argh!

so whats the best army actually, i played the computer game, and necron is best so far, but they are super slow.

space marines is good, easy to beat up by the enemy. chaos is about the same, except if we talkking about their God.

don't talk about the green thingie creature, i hate them haha just me maybe...orc waghhhhh!

tau is good for far range battle, not close combat.

the last picture that you gave, the fast packs got 2 small antaenna at the side, so is this fast packs, got special function like elints?maybe abit of elint's function

wondering why bandai come out with all this variation?? why they not standardize everything the same

I was going to up that one too, but my scanner is on the fritz.

The VEFR is one of the oddball in-between valks. It is a two seater, but has a single-seater style chestplate, but maintains some of the other VF-1D details. As an earlier post here stated, it does have a head unit, similar to that of the VE-1. It was originally a fan-created custom model kit - I think there are pics of the actual model in the first Macross Plastic Model Manual book.

Don't you think the radome of the VEFR is the same of the elint ?

I like a lot the one with the green radome. Great for sure with a VEFR-1 or a VE-1. But about the part on the right (half green): is it round like a ball or a circle like a plate ? Difficult to see from front.

it seems like a ball for me, but why a ball shape?? looks funny...if plate, sure there is something in the middle of it, like cone or something like that.

Does anyone have any line art of this VF variant? this would look great with an elintseeker.

r u going to make this custom?? pre-VE-1, i think it would be damn cool, i wish we can see the side looks of it, so atleast we have the idea of how the fast packs looks like for this variant valk (we should come out with name for it please!)

im going to buy 1/72 scale AWACS plane, and take the radome out ...but how big is the radome? is it big enough for vefr-1? any idea guys?

the 3rd valkyrie, is cool design, i like valk with all those radome, now i have verf-1 and that one, i want to try to do some custom

It shows up in SDF:M. If you have Macross Perfect Memory, flip to the pages on Bodolza's attack on Earth (or watch the anime, etc.). There's an image of the SDF-1 with VFs and Regults in front of it, and Zentraedi ships behind it. Look closely at the VFs in front of the leg on the left side. About halfway down is the VEFR-1.

Colourwise, it looks to be the same as the standard VF-1 (though, in that image, even the twanies are grey, like Skull squadron in shadow.) The radome (at least the edge of it) is a red colour.

The interesting thing about the above mentioned image is that there is another non-standard VF even lower than the fully visible VEFR-1. Only the top can be seen, and it looks like there is a small vertically mounted radome on the left, and a horizontal sensor on the right (directions are that of the viewer, not the vehicle.) I think I may have seen it somewhere else before. Something makes me think it's a VF in gerwalk, though I could be mistaken.

argh...i don't have any, book or the anime, i must buy it then! how much the book cost you? is it way superb expensive?
