Glad to see this is still going strong. Definately can't wait to see some photos but so far it seems like this is going to be really nice and the price is nothing so I can't really see why I wouldn't get one. I hope your original plans still hold on the add on parts for DYRL and possibly doing M+ helmets.

I sent one too on 8-18-07 and never got a reply either. I just assumed that the project was dead but I just wanted some info on the helmet since I was serious about getting one.

Damn, I swore I wouldn't get this one but that pic just made my mind up for me. It looks so much better than I expected.

They do count down every drawer after each teller shift. They are responsible for their drawer so missing money is a very bad thing. Depending on the bank, some type of action will be taken. Mistakes happen but they can't ignore it. I can't tell you what will happen but more than likely the teller will at least be written up.

Since not all the Shin's were fixed, I'm just going to hope for a re-issue of Shin to make sure I get a fixed one.

It drives me nuts not to have this one yet but the problems are too big overlook. I am really hoping that this release they have addressed them so I can finally order it but until I hear word from people who actually receive it I am holding off. Finally getting caught up on 1/48 with this money so it's all good.

I just ordered mine from Laftoys. I figure the 2 free flexidisplays make it about even rather than going overseas. I just need 3 more 1/48 and I am done with them for now.

I just noticed something as a I start my custom 1/48 valk. I seem to be suffering from guilt as I plan to strip it down and start transforming it into my own design. I actually found myself deciding on which valk to buy to customize based on the pilot I cared less for, which for me was Kakizaki. But then I realized that I need to get anyone for the cheapest. Does anyone else feel guilty when they look at this beloved toy and imagine stripping it? I think maybe it's time for professional help that I even found myself thinking this. Anyway, hopefully I will finish this soon and get some pics up. Damn this site, you are all Macross enablers and my wallet is the victim!

Actually, in the third picture in the second row it appears her pods are gray. Her booster and the missile in between are pure white but the pods are darker. The light is coming from below which is why the tops of the pods and booster are dark so it can't be a lighting issue.

This thread is determined to force me to buy an SV-51 now instead of waiting. Damn all these pictures. The scale photos are great. As much as I wished they would have stuck with the 1/48 line for all the toys, I can see why they backed down. The SV-51 would be enormous on a shelf and the price point would have been much higher. Since I was planning on ordering 3 valks from HLJ, I guess adding this won't be bad.

After seeing all those pics, I am very tempted to just buy it. It's amazing. I just have that little voice in my head though, "wait for the revieeeeewwwws!"

Has anyone tried to cast the shoulders in metal yet? It's been a few years since I worked with casting metal but I did work with someone who made really small metal products for their jewelry. They used the sand casting method which most people know. I don't have a VF-0 yet(which is killing me) so I am not sure exactly how the parts look. Pictures abound it doesn't look too hard to cast the two pieces using certain metals. Building a crucible is easy for small projects.

Hopefully the new Fokker will be solid so I can finally get it. I have been itching to get a VF-0 for a while and came close on Shin but all these problems made me wait.

Originally I didn't like the SV-51, but the more I see of it I can't resist getting it. I won't take the chance of ordering before some reviews, but if all goes well I will definately get it quickly. As for Nora and the gold. I'm not a fan of her anyways so it's not much issue for me. I know gold on toys is sometimes too much and can look cheap. Hopefully they tone it down so it's not solid gold and maybe a little burnished. The Dobber repaint would be very nice though. The colors just work well with the design, which could pry some more money from my wallet.

I would definately be interested in a TV helmet with moving visor and attachable chin piece option. Hopefully this works out for you GM since I would definately like to see you produce a Macross Plus Isamu helmet. Of course, this all depends on final product. Probably end up with all 3 if the work is up to par.

Hey Anasazi, it's Aryse. Had to re-register after the server upgrade so I changed to my usual nickname and lost access to Aryse. Glad to hear some of the info helped and may lead to your great work coming back. I'm sure the fans will all be happy if this actually works out. I sure as hell know I will be. I hate working in AI and Corel so designing the vector graphics was making me sad. Good luck, and if it doesn't then I can keep digging up options.
