Just wanted to say I had a very good buying experience with Sharpnel. He shipped the item the day after payment was received and I got the item in about 2 days in perfect condition.

I have the Hasbro version that was sold at Wal-Mart. PM me if interested.

I would grab my Battletech miniatures if time permits. The other stuff in my collection could be replaced pretty easy (if expensively) but I have so many miniatures, a lot of which are rare and expensive, they would be the first thing I get out.

Mine has a few problems. The right foot would not open all the way at first, and I had to partially dismantle the leg and use a lot of force to get it to open up. One of the doors covering the landing wheel on the left leg will not stay closed. The FAST cannon and missle attachments fall off at the slightest touch.

I'm pleased with my purchase, but wanted to let you know they can have problems. If you get a chance, post a pic with the urban armor as I'm considerng that purchase myself.

Cool pics....appreciate the further comments. Consensus seems to be toward purchasing the Stealth type, which is what I'm leaning toward. Also, does anyone have pics of the Stealth in the Urban Camo Low Visibility GBP? I think the combo would look quite good, and is what I'm thinking of doing.

Well, on the snide side, no one here likes the term "veritech" as that's a Robotech term and in Macross they're called valkyrie.

Terribly sorry, I'm used to using the terms interchangeably.

So, I've been lurking here for a long time, and I decided my first post should be about my first Yamato purchase. I'm looking at getting the VF-1J Stealth Type Super Valkyrie or the VF-1S Variable Fighter Roy Focker with the add on super and strike parts. I really like the Stealth type, something about a black Veritech just screams cool, but I also love the classic Roy VF-1S. So, I'm asking for help. Would love to hear from people that own both. Any thoughts, opinions, snide comments, etc are welcome.

Also, what is the general consensous in regards to the VF-1 armor parts? I'm considering that as a later purchase.
