  1. I'm going to buy one from overstock myself. Thanks for the link.
  2. Anyone use their broken old type VF-11 as part of some kind of diorama?
  3. Broke one of the legs off my MG Hyaku-Shiki, and I put stress cracks on the intakes of my Hikaru 1/48. Thankfully the 11 FP seems quite sturdy. I was afraid I broke my 21 FP transforming it but it was fine. It stays in fighter mode just to be safe.
  4. He did. Last time I went there though his page was down. The address was quite complicated...you'll just have to type in Valkyrie Power Page. At the time I'm typing this, my friend has told me he just moved. No wonder I couldn't find him anywhere. Here 's the Address: http://digilander.libero.it/valkyriepower/...r/mw_index.html PS Commader, that is a VF-11. I couldn't post anymore there jsut too damn big!! ( Check out the one with the two VF-11's in the sunset of the VF-1A Hikaru in the sunset. Just beautiful.) I tried checking out the wallpapers but none of them would load.
  5. I am admittingly a CF junkie so I love my 1/60 CF. The two 19's I have are also way up there. A 1/48 CF Fast Pack would probably become my favorite fast though. Or a Yammie 17 if they ever make one. I am also rather partial to my MG Sazabi and Nu Gundam.
  6. Definately sounds fishy to me.
  7. I doubt it will be a limited number since they have to make enough for the people who want them now as well as for future 1/48's they come out with. I would guess and hope that they might even do a supplemental run down the line.
  8. Does any one else think their VF-14 schemes are pretty cool looking?
  9. I used HLJ fairly often before they had to switch to EMS. Now I buy my Macross stuff from Valkyrie Exchange primarily. I use HLJ for Gundams if I have a few to get, or if I find something on a good sale. I got my 1/48 VF-1A Hikaru from Animenation when they had it on clearance. They have a good sale from time to time, too.
  10. I'm glad that I saw it. It's Macross and it has that feel throughout it. Sharon Apple music in the background, or the old guy showing Mylene a picture he had taken of himself with Minmei. Stuff like that. It has its cheesy moments, but the payoff in the latter half is rather good. Agreeing with what the others said, it's not for the casual anime fan, it's only for those who have seen and loved the original, so watch it yourself first. Like many shows there are things that could have been handled better, or better explained, but it's worth seeing at least once. If you don't like it, then you don't have to see it again. But you won't be any worse off for it. Also: VF-17's
  11. I tried to work out the scale once and I think I came up around 15 inches length for the fighter mode. MASSIVE. And that's not going into total surface area to include wingspan. Going to 1/60 scale alone would make it around the size of a 1/48 VF-1. A 1/48 YF-19 would look gorgeous I'm sure, but that might be a little too big for me. I'll probably settle for 2 of the new 1/72's instead. Imagine the footprint a 1/48 YF-21 would have, too.
  12. I hope to god [ass] is an acronym. It still doesn't help the title to stop sounding like a joke though.
  13. Some information can be found at this site. You can read up on it some and make the call if it interests you. Link: Mecha Anime HQ
  14. The 1/48 should be as rock-solid with the armor on as it is without it. And oh so sweet. My only 1/48 valk will be in fighter mode though.
  15. Here is the info link for the model from HLJ. SDF-1 Cruiser Model

    1/48 VF-1A CF

Personally, I would like to see a J model CF, since no one's done one before and it would be something nicely different. But if Yamato goes with the A model I'll still have no problem buying old faithful.

    1/48 VF-1A CF

This is kind of going back to the thread in the old forum, but I'm kind of curious to actually see a tally of who would really like what. This of course assumes Yamato makes a 1/48 VF-1 CF, which I really hope they do for next year. Also, I hope the color will be darker than the 1/60 CF, more like the TRU version than the regular release. I look forward to you guy's feedback.
  18. Excellent job there. The 19 looks sweet in that scheme.
  19. Awesome scheme. Nice job.
  20. Here is the Link to the trailer if anyone needs it. Game Trailer
  21. My first yammie was a VF-1S Roy the beginning of last summer when HLJ did one of their 50% off sales. I opened it up and was hooked right away on how sweet it was. It took me forever to decide what mode to leave it in after I put the stickers on it. I eventually left it in Gerwalk for a while at first, the only valk on my desk at the time. I regretted not picking up some of the others back then. My next valk was a VF-19A I found at a local shop a couple of months later. The other valks were horrendously priced, he wanted a $120 for a VF-11B and $100 for a Hikaru 1A LOL. Somehow the 19 was 90 bucks. Knowing it was hard to find I snatched one, and loved it ever since. Now I spend so much, my family questons my sanity.
  22. I believe that was the Studio Halfeye kit, which is now out of production. Somone please correct me if I'm wrong.
  23. Thanks a lot for putting these back up again.

    Meeting with yamato

As long as I get my new YF-19's next year, of which I will get 2 of them, I will at least be happy. More so if they bring out a DYRL SDF-1 hopefully under 200 dollars, whatever scale they could make it for that price. A VF-4 would round things out very nicely. Whether or not I get a Q-rau depends both on the price and the final size of the figure. I would guess the latter part of the 2004 might be focused on Macross Zero valks since the series will finish its release by then. On a side note, I like the cold cast statue idea that popped up earlier. A complete-out-of-the-box DYRL concert Minmei (1/7 or 1/8 scale so she won't obscure the valks) would make an intersting centerpiece, especially in front of whatever scale SDF-1 they come out with.
