That looks really awesome! Where can i get one of those? I own both version of the Yamato release but i do not remember it being included in any of them...

I think that on the Do you remember love PSX game there is a cut-scene where you can see a white VF-1A(Hikaru?) and a C.F. VF-1A with part of the armor on. It looks pretty sweet, in both of the VF.

I have to admit that I do like the weight of it, although transformation was painful.

It feels great when you hold it in hand.

This makes me wonder how many people would love their valkies to be little bit heavier and actually kept a few v1s for this reason, or one of the reasons.

I totally agree with what you say. Not only i kept few of my old vf-1 1.0 but i i still prefer some of the old models to the v2. Specifically the super ostrich and the VF-1J max and millia(except for the pilots). Plus, the legs. I mean the legs of the V.2 are just terrible. In general i feel that the battroid version of the v.1 feel more "mecha" than the v.2, whom are great for posability but they always looked too "human" to me.

Yes, that was the box i meant. So, would it work to put the super parts on the VF-1J on a 1/48 VF-1S roy?

I'd say Macross the Complete. It's three discs, and the DYRL soundtrack is on disc two. But what makes it worth is that the third disc has all the OTHER music that was used in the movie but previously unreleased.

SCYLA: Yes, mine looks like the picture you posted. You can see it better "live" but i really think it is that kind of canopy. And i am starting to see the cracks too. A lot of them. Very little but there are many. I personally don't like the rainbow canopy and i would like to change it. Is there any tutorial on how to do it? And above all, where do i find another one?

I just received today a VF-1S Max 1/60 from Yamato. Although the item was preowned it really looks in great conditions. The only problem that i have is that the canopy is not completely trasparent but has a sort of multicolor tone. Not quite sure how to explain it, the reflection of light just seems weird, like it was made using different shades of color. Is that normal? Should i return the item? I mean i own almost 50 valks and that's the very first time i see something like this.

I would go with a VF-2SS too. Although i am not a big fan o macross II i really like the design of that mech.

To be honest the two models i really want Arcadia to make are not Valks. The first one would be the Macross 0 reactive armor. The second one instead is the old yellow plane that Fokker flies in Hikaru's flashback during episode 2(or 3, can't remember exactly right now)...i think it is Fokker's only plane never made by any company.

More CMs style figures; anyone is fine, if i had to choose I would say Kakizaki DYRL version, Guld from M+ and probably Shin from M0...(No, maybe I would with Gloval) in order to fill the holes left from CMs...

So,does this count as three items?

Anyhow I would definetely buy these figures probably two copies for each of them. I feel they are essential for a good collection.

Anyway, am I the only who would feel weird to have different re-colors of the YF-21 or the YF-19 since we only saw them as prototypes and not sure if (or which) made it into production...

I am not a big fan of the YF-21. I like it but I think Macross has better mechas...anyhow I am really excited about this because I will finally have the chance to recreate this image;

Speaking of which, I have a question...once(about 5 years ago) I saw a picture of an advertisement for some mospeada toys(from Gakeen during th 80s); on that picture there was a Beta fighter of the same scale of the 1/35 Gakeen Alpha. I swear it was there. There was also written that that Beta was a prototype NEVER released but completely compatible with the ALPHAs. Does any of you know what I am talking about or have info about where to find that picture?

Well, first of all I`d like to thank Graham for the amazing chance that he is giving us. You`re great!

I would like to see more accessories for our Valks and all macross-related toys. And better shaped. I am not satisfied with the three white missiles that you find in every 1/48 valks. It`s the only part of the toy that actually feels like, uhm...a toy. And they should have red caps at beginning and at the end right? Yamato should re-make them. Also, having more accessories sold separately would be sweet. What if I want a VF-1A CF with a DYRL pilot rather than the crappy SDFM that there is in the box? I would say sell pilots, missiles and other accesories separately, maybe even stickers(in order to distinguish different squadrons). Everything that might help to customize your birds. Fast packs with different colors would be nice too(for Low Vis.1 for example).

As far as the release of other models I am fine with EVERY valks in the Macross universe except for the Macross 7 models. Anyway I really really really would like to see a 1/48 VF-1S Max version and a VF-11B(1/60??) from Macross Plus.

Apparently as now November is the only month that Yamato do not have any releases yet...
