  1. Actually, I'm curious myself. Not planning on getting them of course. I just want to know what they're like as well. No one on MW got them? Not even the Toynami supporters? Bueller? Bueller? (crickets chirping)
  2. Yeah, I've got a feeling they'll probably released be only w/FPs too. But who knows, they released the VF-1J w/o FPs so anything can happen.
  3. THAT I HAVE: MACROSS RELATED: 1. 1/55 Strike Valk 2. 1/55 Elintseeker NON-MACROSS RELATED 1. Monoseed from Spiral Zone (Japanese) THAT I WANT: 1. 1/55 Superostrich
  4. yum , yum, give me some!!!
  5. This should probably go in the dealers page, but i like having a Frank & Sons page too. Anyways, sounds good to me! I am interested in your prices for Macross toys (of course) but also Masterpiece Prime if you have it. Thanks!
  6. great job! any plans on weathering effects?
  7. I love these toys. Just great design all around. from their vehicle modes, to their robot modes, to their combined modes. They rock!!!
  8. There can be only one... STRIKE.
  9. Hey EXO, were you able to talk to your friend about the 4th Appleseed HC book?
  10. vf-1s strike valk. my pop was too cool.
  11. Cool! Especially to see the animation, that really makes it! On another note, even though this is probably waaay early to say and we're just looking at a computer model, I wish it had the interior detail that Smokescreen had. It seems lacking in the RX-8. You know, the detailed dash, the seats. It doesn't seem like there'd be any reason to not be able to pull it off on the RX-8 as well. Hopefully they do it for the final production toy.
  12. Checked this weekend. Eclipse + Dark Horse for the first 2 hardcover books. Run of 300 S&N Hardcovers. Studio Proteus + Dark Horse for the 3rd. Run of 200 S&N Hardcovers. Off to download the trailer!!! Those screenshots looked great!
  13. EXO, The Akira hardcovers were published by Graphitti Designs. I'll have to check this weekend who published the Appleseed hardcovers. But maybe your contact would know anyways? The first 2 hardcovers had pictures on the covers. the 3rd book was a kind of faux dark maroon-ish leather with no image on the cover. Maybe it was one company who published the first 2 and another for the 3rd? They seem kinda like they don't go together.
  14. Now how in the hell did I miss THIS thread all this time?! Anyways, here's my $.02 braindump to catch up... I'm a big Shirow fan, been one ever since Appleseed. Incredible art, incredible girls, incredibly detailed worlds. Everything thought out to a T, no cheating of knowledge of technology here! Master, I humbly bow down before you... I don't mind the hentai. If it's going to be done, who better than Shirow, right? In fact I remember seeing hentai stuff (outside of those pages in GITS and GITS:MMI) that he did even before the posterbooks, in some small japanese book that was mostly text. (Sorry to bring that topic up again, had to mention it though. By the way, the other link is broken so here's a proper one for the curious: http://rengoku9.free.fr/pbcollection.html ) We all know of his love for the female form, it's a natural progression in my opinion. If fact, I'm not opposed to him showing everything to be completely honest. I'd love to see that page of his airsoft gun designs. I've seen seburos on ebay here and there. Wish i had the money for them. Can't wait for the 4th Intron Depot book! Soon my preciousss... The GITS:SAC game looks great! Wonder what the cutscenes will lokk like. It can't come soon enough. Also, here's a question for all you Shirow/Appleseed fans that I've never figured out: I have hardcover/signed editions of Appleseed Books 1-3. Did they ever put out a hardcover edition of Appleseed Book 4? I've been looking for it all this time, but maybe it's been in vain - kinda like the hardcover edition of Akira book 6. While all the other books for these series get released in hardcover form, the very last book collection doesn't? Weird...
  15. Not that he needs any excuses for winning, since he clearly deserved to win, but the best argument that I agree with for Prime/Convoy deserving to win is that Prime/Convoy is more of a TOY than Dancougar is and at a more acceptable PRICE POINT. I sure as hell voted for him. Guaranteed, more people will PLAY with their Prime/Convoy than old second place finisher Danny-boy. I love all kinds of toys, from plastic to diecast, robots to action figures. I love ToyBoxDX, Macrossworld, and all the Trans Fans sites. I love 1/48 Valks, giant idols of solid diecast metal like Dancougar, and folks, Prime/Convoy EARNED and DESERVED that win. If Macrossworld held the exact same TOTY vote this year, I'm pretty sure that Prime/Convoy would still have won. And if TFW2005 held the TOTY vote the year before, I think the VF-1A would still have won that year too. People know a great toy when they see one. And frankly, he's just a great, great TOY. Period.
  16. Loved the Mezzo Forte and Kite OVAs. I'll definitely be checking this one out. Even without the sex, it sounds like they toned down the action, which is unfortunate. However, i'm anxious to see what the "no way!" action scene at the end is like.
  17. you know, i know that convoy/prime is not an alternator, but i thought i saw a picture with him and smokescreen and sideswipe together in vehicle mode and they looked liked the essentially they worked together, even though seeing them together in robot form seemed not quite right. i don't have prime, so i can't really say, just going from memory (faulty as it probably is.) anyways, i love the trailer. love how the side detail of it matches the G1 well. great job! all it needs is a big autobot symbol on it! does the trailer fit the alternators by the way?
