  1. Uhhh.... you seem to be confused here, the VFs in Macross II are labeled as either VF-2SS or VF-2JA, not VF-IISS or VF-IIJA. The Roman Number designation is only attached to the word Valkyrie (as in Valkyrie II) not the fighter designation itself. Macross Official Website lists these as so too (see attached screenshot image)... And I may be wrong in this, but the way I understand it, each Valkyrie class (VF-1, VF-2, VF-4, VF-19, etc...) is new class/concept each on its own, the Valkyrie II class including.
  2. licensing issues? is that due to/connected with HG? that's really sad. next to online stores, HK has the cheapest plamo in the Southeast Asian region, and for the VF-25 (and other possible/future Macross F kits) to be excluded will be a bit of a hassle for those shopping in HK... on a related news, online order shop Rainbow Ten has posted in their model news section: so i guess it's either HLJ and Hobby Search for those wanting to order online then...
  3. The VF-25F kit was announced to be compatible with the Bandai Action Base I Other images show this to be so:
  4. Well, Bandai MIGHT (emphasis on the word) pull a fast "HRUDUDU"-style release on us, bundling the armor packs with hobby magazine releases
  5. sorry, i didn't mean to mislead, was just going by what my friend told me (she's quite reliable though). i'll confirm with her next time i speak with her about this one.
  6. Well, the 18th is the shelf date. One might assume that the various shops will get them in before the date and simply not put them out until then - that's how many releases work in the US, and why things also get released prematurely - occasionally you'll find things on the shelves a few weeks before they're supposed to be there, because someone didn't know about the release date and just put it out like so much product. Brush up on your Japanese and make friends with the hobby shop owners and as far as i know, it's already released in hobby shops in japan, (tokyo and aki area at least), as confirmed by a friend there right now (who's getting me one ), so you might wanna check the shops then
  7. awesome work on the VF-2SS man! hope i can pull off the same on my VF-2SS too
  8. can't wait for my preorder too! from what i can see in the images from the hobby magazines, Master Grade tooling is definitely in place, but i'm kinda disappointed in the Gerwalk mode but not surprised, i kinda saw it coming i'm just curious as to why they had to use transparent supports in some of the images of the model in battroid and gerwalk though, could it be back heavy? i'm hoping it's not, but then again, the kit is compatible with Bandai's Action Base, so there.... what i think Bandai will also be doing is release soooo many variants based on just one frame, since you just need to change head parts and probably weapons (e.g. sniper rifle for Mikhail's VF instead of standard gunpod), but this has been Bandai's marketing strategy and is to be expected already; i for one am not complaining with the many MG Strike Gundam variants i already have c'mon Bandai, give us Armored VF-25S already!
