Ok, after a few weeks with the M4, I'm not liking the momentary light on it. I'm going to give it away and replace it with something else. Affordable that is I've been researching some mods for Surefire type lights. Some places out there sell an endcap which can be set to do constant on, but also allow momentary. basically one of these tailcap switch though, I'm not sure I want to spend $28 and end up with something that's going to fail. some of the stuff I've been getting out of China are ok, some are crap. it's a toss-up. I've got a few Surefire G2 spares sitting around with CREE LEDs, which are bright enough to light up a room (don't really need the throw of a xenon bulb, since the light is only going to be used in close quarters), it should be compatible with that switch. I'll probably have to get a new mount to mount the G2. I really wish I'd kept that green UNIMAX from Lasermax. It'd be a nice addition, kinda useless, but neat nonetheless. Gotta get that MallNinja look going. j/k We've actually had no problems with the Colt M4s and are planning on getting some more with next years budget, so I get to keep my MP5 as a spare Wondering if I should trade it for a .40 UMP (the UMP doesn't have three-rd burst, but it does have a suppressor) Then again, I should just return it to the armory since I never use it and it's kinda pointless having too many guns seeing as I'm trying to slim down my gear. Current set up now is the M4 with 6 mags, Glock 31 on thigh with 4 extra mags (set up for right-hand), and Glock 32 on carrier as a back-up (set up for left-hand). But...seeing as how all are M4s are semi-auto only, I should keep the MP5 just so I have a full-auto weapon available should I feel the need.... do they make a beta c-mag adapter for the MP5? and this is for JsARCLIGHT, my resident AR expert: Is it safe for me to get rid of the front-sight thing and replace it with something else? I'm going to experiment with moving the EOTech up some and buying a pair of Troy Flip-Up sights in case my batteries go, I can just remove the EOTech and use the Troys. Personally, I really hate the way that front sight looks. I was playing with someone's S&W MP15T and really like the Troy sight set-up it has. (Not really fond of the EOTech either, but every other rifle is set up that way and they want us to keep things similar in case someone needs to use someone else's rifle, the only major thing I've changed is I'm using all P-Mags with windows and I moved the momentary switch)

Well, personal experience, my Netgear g router took a dump. My Linksys G router is still going strong (as well as my ancient linksys B router), and my new Dlink draft-n router has been great for about 4 months now.

Thought Max was also limited to 250 and that Yamato was going to do a lottery of all eligible people who sent in the required stuff? Yamato needs to stop this limited production run crap and just make smaller runs if they're afraid it won't sell (which it will)

I recently finished the entire Ender's Game series and side stories. I would recommend getting all of them, they really tie into one another and gives your perspectives from different sides.

I'm not really a battroid person (none of my valks are left that way), I'm mainly a fighter mode person and the pics of it in fighter mode have me sold. Bring on a max tv-1A please!

So far, everything he's told me in the last two years has come true. He supposedly gets his info from whatever conventions/meetings he goes to. I think he said the reasoning was it was easier to do updated compatibility with software since the Emotion Engine isn't 100% either and they can sell it to the 40 gb people for $100. I just picked up the MGS bundle (yes, my 3rd PS3, I'm keeping this one) over a used 60gb one they had in stock because it was a better value for me. $499 + tax for the MGS4/PS3 Bundle with Dual Shock 3. $369 for used 60gb PS3 with suckaxis controller, $51 MGS4, $46 for Dual Shock 3 controller, $466 + tax. It's a little bit of a savings, but I don't need it to play PS1/PS2 games, so I opted for the newer system.

You should've posted that you were looking for the MGS4 one, I just saw 6 at Best Buy last week when I went to get a camera bag. It's not a limited as people thought. My regular Gamestop had two in on Saturday (sold one). It wasn't selling at the ghetto gamestops, so some were rerouted. Supposedly, there is an update coming soon that is going to disable the emotion chip in the 60 gig version and backwards compatibility will be done completely with software and those with the 40gb can buy backwards compatibility. not a big issue with me since i still have a PS1 and PS2, though the only thing I use the PS1 for is IQ and IQ Final. I haven't touched the PS2 in forever.

Ok, so my, should I get this on 360 or PS3? Achievements or Trophies? Not that I care about those, I just want to play the game. Guess I will hurry up and go finish FFX-2 and FFXII. I'll probably just get it for PS3 since it was slated for that system first. Just like I got Mass Effect for 360 instead of waiting for the PC version.

Or if someone has a set they want to split, I'll take the fast pack parts and Dave can have the fold booster.

Got it today, thanks! Here it is next to my Takatoys custom YF-19 and my Kurt built Hasegawa YF-19. Maybe one day, I'll try transforming the YF-19 and YF-22, but for now, fighter mode is ok. I hope Takatoys does stickers for the YF-22 and the new 1/60 VF-1s.

Will Yamato ever release this without the fold booster?

They look good, I just wish someone would release these things in fighter only mode in 1/60 scale. I don't really transform my toys that much. In fact, I have never transformed my YF-19, and I'll probably never transform the YF-21 either. Make a static toy for like $50 (Because I hate putting models together)

ok, I was wondering why it wouldn't let me update it last night. I haven't tried it yet, but does the PS3 play AVIs and MPEGs if I have them on a memory stick? Or do I have to do a conversion like I did with the PSP?

You get that crap in most any online game nowadays, that's why I don't even bother putting a mic on anymore. No one listens anyway. You've got people trying to be tough gangsters, you have little kids trying to swear like the big boys. etc. I haven't even bothered to sync up my headset to the PS3 yet.

are they just doing this limited runs to finish off some stock? They should just make regular runs. Hopefully, they'll release these in 1/60 v.2
