My account was suspended. I ordered a Bandai VF-1J GBP and I didn't get a confirmation that it was ordered so I ordered again and got confirmation; I didn't look in my order history, but if I did (and I guess I should have checked), I'm guessing there were 2 orders and after a couple months (closer to release date), my account got suspended. Had to explain that I was only ordering 1 and didn't get a confirmation and ordered again. HLJ Rep looked into it, saw the order date/time was pretty much the same and said that next time, should email them about not getting an order confirmation before placing another order for an item with a limit 1. Though I'm thinking by the time I email and get a response, it'll probably be sold out. I've read they're pretty strict on suspensions and not re-activating suspended accounts.

Does anyone know if HLJ will let you order a 2nd one if you already have one in the warehouse? Or would that lead to a suspension of your HLJ account?

For those getting the valks delivered to the USA via FedEX, do you guys ever get charged for duty, taxes, other fees? I was thinking of getting the items shipped to Point Roberts, WA and driving over to pick them up there. But if it could be charged duty/taxes, then it would be a hassle for the mail service located there. UNSpacy

I won it!!!! I'm still a completist (until the 2 new exclusive versions come out). Not as low as I was hoping, but since it'll be local pickup I save on the shipping. For those saying that the shipping is too high, check canadapost.ca. I thought the shipping was way too high too, but I took the weight in the auction and put the numbers into the shipping tool on canadapost and the seller's estimates were close. It DOES cost @$200+ to ship internationally from Canada now (can't remember which country I entered, but I got a estimate of $314 for that one). The reason is that Canada Post doesn't have an airmail parcel option for large packages anymore. Just a 3-4 day express service or a no delivery estimate surface option. What the seller should have done is head over to Point Roberts or Bellingham and ship from the US using USPS. Cause our postal system sucks now... but it worked out in my favour this time FYI - For any Canadians here who sells on eBay, Canada Post's calculator now includes a State destination field... so it's no longer a flat fee to ship to the US.

It's over $350 now, which was my limit. For a whole week, I thought I had a chance. :-( Regarding shipping, I did a check on Canada Post and the cost to ship to my United States address was $40. So the seller's $50 isn't far off. I emailed the seller earlier in the week and she's open to local pickups for free; which is great for me, but it's already past what I'm willing to pay. :-( I think I'm about to quit being a 1/48 completist especially with the weather VF-1S Strike and VF-1A Max exclusives coming out.

So does anyone know if this is being released again? There's 1 on eBay right now and the price is not high (yet), which I find strange so I thought maybe there's something I'm not aware of? I know there were rumours of this coming out as a general release in September, but as far as I know, it's still a far fetched rumour. UNSpacy

Yep. That would be me. eBay had a 10 cent listing day so I was curious if people were actually interested in purchasing it for such a high amount based on the previous LowVis auction. I don't really intend to sell it, but if it goes for $750 USD, I won't complain. Personally, if I didn't have it, I would probably pay $400 USD. Maybe $500 USD. Heck, I paid $400 CDN for a Bandai VF-1A Hikaru Loose 5 years ago... then Bandai re-releases it... I'm still trying to get over it There's actually 12 people watching it right now on eBay. How many of the 12 are you guys who are just curious, I don't know, but I didn't think people would even consider at that price.
