The stand for the Wing Zero, it disappoints me, the darn thing keeps canting off to one side between the stand and the crotch-attachment.
The second attachment from behind is actually much more solid than one from the bottom.

First time purchase directly from Bandai premium. Tons of tiny bits and hinges that need to be careful with, looks to be more difficult to handle than most VFs.

My destroids are still waiting for their brothers.

The closest comparison should be the most recent Bandai release - the 1:72 models. This one get a similar hinge below the leg air intakes but the leg proportions are much better. The legs were really awkward on the 1:72.

August release.

Just noticed CD Japan is selling Bandai limited items now. They charge more than NY, but it is another alternative.

S6E5 - damn, just like Protoculture made Zentradi and lost control.

Wait, where are those articulated display stands when they first showed these new DX? Bandai don't cheap out on us!

I was feeling indifferent with the preview episode, loving it now.

Vaporware at this point.

Shipping from 1st world countries are generally quite expensive, with Japan being an exception with more reasonable pricing and have many options to choose. Even before the Canadian dollar drop I normally don't order anything from USA due to high shipping cost.

I am more worry about the shipping cost of the Monster. It don't have slimmer shuttle mode like the Konig Monster so the box is gona be much thicker.

Same pics, original source: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/blog/160114
"ファイター形態とバトロイド形態を組み合わせてガウィーク形態も再現できるようになっています"
i.e. Gerwalk mode need to combine fighter and battroid mode model, just like the wave models.

Mandarake.
Anyone use a Tamashii Nations Act stand with the GBP yet? Pics?

It came with another adaptor for armored mode and the whole thing is not too heavy for those stands.

I'm upset that we don't have any better spy photo of the VF-4 and VF-2SS, and the slow release schedule means it will take forever to get there, if Bandai don't retire the line over one or two bad release first.
-
Why choose 35 instead of 60? License aside, I think the reason is the Yamato v2 are already very good, Bandai cannot make a version that is good enough for most Macross fans (us) to re-buy them. Same for 48. Go big and they can have new features.
But there have been many vapor wares from Bandai shows we may never see this or the SDF anyway.

Is the 262 a reference to me-262, the super jet from the big bad guy that out perform everything?

I can be the only that is interested by the multi-angle display stand.

Short answer: yes.
Long answer: VF-31S is a regular retail release, and is expected to be listed on Japanese web stores for pre-order at Match 1st 4pm JST, along with other Bandai July releases. Many past Macross releases that were popular would get the pre-order quota cleared out within a minute of being listed. Similar thing happened with other popular release like Metal Build Gundams.
Some shop like NY may list it at a later time.
