  2. Well Once in a while i like to take my collection pieces out of the display and fiddle. All the panels on the Unicron Gundam are so hard to work around. The Piece that helps hold the bazooka broke nothing stays in place. I was thinking of replacing it with the Titanium version but I havent heard any review about it or seen pictures. The box pictures still make it look white and I am afraid it will break into a million pieces if I touch it. I just wonder why they dont give some gundams the SOC treatment. Even the Spec would be nice
  3. then you would like SkyGraspers cause the writer is exactly making that statement in this anime about other anime. It takes effort to see this but the message is there laud and clear
  4. thanks guys that helps a lot I think in this case im going to pass on them. and instead i will get BANDAI GUNDAM MG 1/100 SHIN MUSHA SENGOKU NO JIN MODEL GUNDAM Bandai MG RX-93 Metallic Coating 1/100 MODEL KIT BANDAI Gundam MG 1/100 Model - MSN-06S SINANJU Ver.KA i was considering getting the GFFs because of my experience with MG Zeta V2 and Unicorn Gundam. I have the PG Zeta which is a masterpiece of work and engineering but the MG counterpart and Unicorn really suck. I have noticed any moving part models from Bandai are a disaster. So I thought the GFF Zeta and other one would be better designed thank you again in making up my mind

  6. Bank client floored by penalties Print Print Text Size Text Size Text Size Choose text size Report Typo Report typo or correction Email the author Email the author iCopyright License this article AddThis May 23, 2009 04:30 AM Comments on this story (40) Ellen Roseman When Rahim Moosa lost his job last October, he decided to sell the house he'd bought with his wife a year earlier. His lender, TD Canada Trust, said there would be an $8,000 penalty to break his five-year closed mortgage – an amount he found tolerable. "By the time we sold in April 2009, TD Bank quoted us a doubled penalty of $18,000. Now, they are stating it will be approximately $25,000 upon closing in June," he says. Most mortgage contracts and renewal forms specify that clients seeking an early exit will pay either three months' interest or an interest rate differential (IRD), whichever is greater. The IRD is calculated by taking the outstanding balance, multiplying it by the gap between your existing mortgage rate and the current rate for a term similar to what you have left, and multiplying by the number of months left to the end of your term. Mortgage rates have fallen steadily since last fall, making the IRD penalties grow bigger and bigger. Once I got involved in Moosa's case, TD worked hard to cushion the blow. It sent him to a mortgage specialist, who suggested making a 15 per cent lump-sum prepayment using a line of credit that would be paid back at closing. Since TD hadn't told him about this option last October, Moosa asked for and received the right to make a 30 per cent prepayment to reduce the outstanding balance. The estimated penalty is now $11,000 to $14,000. "We won't know for sure what the exact penalty will be until the payments are made using the line of credit next week," Moosa says. He wonders why TD dragged its feet when told about his financial problems last fall. "Our branch representative should have advised us that we could pay a 15 per cent lump sum to reduce the penalty. "TD needs to have a better process in place, particularly when dealing with clients whose largest investment is in their hands." Moosa's comments will be reviewed, Hechler said. "We could have moved more quickly to help and provided clearer information from the beginning." Kevin Plautz, also a TD mortgage customer, felt he received misleading information when he asked about breaking the deal to take advantage of lower rates. His financial adviser initially quoted a penalty of $2,100, based on three months' interest. Other TD staff he spoke to later did not challenge that figure. Only when he was ready to renegotiate did he learn there would be an IRD penalty of $5,900. "I wouldn't have bothered doing a renegotiation if I had just been told the correct penalty at the start or one of the many times I asked about it since then," he says TD agreed to reduce his IRD penalty to $4,000 after I escalated his complaint to the head office. "We have offered to substantially reduce the amount of Mr. Plautz's IRD penalty as a goodwill gesture in recognition of the confusion he experienced over the amount he was quoted," Hechler told me. While planning to take the offer, Plautz is leaving TD. He's found another bank that will give him a lower interest rate and cover $225 of his $270 mortgage discharge fee. "I have a very bad taste in my mouth. I think I still prefer to move my business," he says. I'd like to hear from readers. Have you tried to renegotiate a mortgage amid falling interest rates? How did the lender respond and what penalty was charged? I'll publish comments in a future column. Branch staff should be ensuring that they themselves undertand the documents, and if they don't they should ask questions of their supervisors. Stop blaming the banks for everything: interest rates going up; now it's interest rates going down. And no one complains at the supermarket when they are waiting in line for over 5 minutes! In today's technological world, no one should be so uneducated when it comes to something so vital as finances. More specifically to 'Tabber' and 'King Dudley': IRD is not new. I have been in the banking 20 years with the same FI. The first 13 of those years in branches in Personal Banking, working up the ranks. IRD has always been (for my 20 years anyway)something that Banks used for penalty calculations. Clients may not be aware, as it's use is dependant on the term of mortgage a client has or remaining, the interest rate environment (up or down) and if there is a replacement mortgage. If a branch staff quoted one penalty and then when the time came to payout the penalty was higher, this is not a misquote: factors changed, interest rates dropped, mortgage balance decreased. The staff member can only quote a penalty as 'of today's date', as factors change. Banks here in Canada seem to gouge their customer at every opportunity - they can't even blame in on "North America" like so many other things because IRD's don't exist in the US. Fees, fees and more fees - thats the Canadian banking way. Whats with monthly fees? Back in my home country the banks managed to do it all fee free and still make a healthy profit (including those with overseas branches here). Its just like gas prices - a monopoly by the big few to stick together for their own best interests - Executive bonuses. As for the rest of us we're lucky just to keep out jobs. TDCanada Trust was more than happy to allow me to sell so they could use my money to lend at a higher rate. In fact the rep. told me if the purchaser was going through them, she might be able to help with the discharge fee. Submitted by Brockville at 6:32 AM Monday, May 25 2009 * Agree * | * Disagree 1 * | * Alert a moderator TD shame This is so illustrative of TD bank. TD Bank has stopped caring for their customers in order to support the high salaries of their executives. TD bank has become an offshore banking system with head offices in Canada. My last two connections with TD Visa found me with offshore Customer Service people in India who kept reading a script to me and asking me to continually agree with their recited verse that I understood and agreed with them. I and others demand services in Canadian English or French delivered by Canadians. I am moving all of my personal and business accounts from TDCanadaTrust(5), 3 RSP accounts and my VISA account. Enough is enough TD you don't deserve my accounts. I am urging all TDCanadaTrust account holders to move their accounts from this arrogant bank. I need and demand services by a bank that puts the customer at the top and not some customer service company in India. STOP USING TDCANADATRUST because they have lost the right to use the "TRUST" part of their name. 7. EXACTLY! This whole PRIDE of OWNERSHIP Marketing has eaten away at peoples brains I owned and no pride could replace not racing each month to make payments to the bank. Fu ck if you want to pay off your mortgage sooner there is even a penality to that Ha! more toys for Pete and me ! Pete
  8. BTW you must have a 6 figure salary to own and maintain that that would cost an easy 600-800k here
  9. this is what went for 380k this is my rental So it I got a home now I would have a roof over my head and no life and no money if I rent for now I have a roof over my head and a great life full of vacations I did own a condo once. Not all that!! got rid of it. I have been thinking about moving to the states tho
  10. Fu ck me thats nice Maybe I should live in the states Me I like my 50k in the bank My wife saved up 40k but the houses here are mad!
  11. wow for 230 I would have bought it in a heart beat!!!!!! Here a 2000 sq home goes for about 340 which is down 10% which is still 40% overinflated and when I put an offer down the agent laughed and said their was an offer for 380K???? NOT WORTH IT!! TRUST ME plus then you have about 15-30k in buying closing fees. IN the mortal wise ones ie Carlin, Black KISS MY ASS@! so.... we have condos here with 500sq feet for 170k plus 500-700 monthly maintenance fees. Then they have been sold like 3 times over by the Tongs, Wongs Changs Lees and it goes on no thanks! Just waiting for canada to close the borders
  12. you are right too my wife wants to put down 10-20% I say put down nothing and keep the cash. 40k in your had is better than 40k to the bankers. Plus that monthly payment with interest tax this tax that goes to the banker. technically he didnt take any risk giving you the money as he simple abra kadabra gave you a debt. You on the other hand took all the risk and are now slave to your home unless you can still manage to enjoy your life on this planet. I will buy a home. I looking at around 2011 but not now. plus in my town everytime i put an offer i was laughed at because some crazy asian immigrant with money stolen from his own people put in 2ice the amount of my offer. so let them bid themselves into oblivion
  13. HAHA A fellow slav who thinks like me. Likes Robots!!!! MUST BE A TWIN ok so this is how I do it im 37 I work for a major computer company as a contractor which means Im an LCD Lowest Common Denominator Contractors get paid sh it and we really get treated as sub humans but fu ck it ...keeps steaks in the fridge. Im a project coordinator but having worked there all this time im really just a lacky. I get sworn at, threatened with my job on a daily basis and even forced to work weekends and take calls from the PM at 130 in the morning. I used to be a PM on many projects before when I wasnt with the this crazy giant computer company. I had a very senior position and I made about 86k a year. Now its about 50k a year and i get to keep more of it with creative accounting since im an independent contractor. Companies keep pushing you into the hole. So whats going to happen is this ! They have already fired most of the 10 + year full timers and will I believe bring me on as a full timer after my three year contract is up but at a much lower salary. That will then be the new standard, I dont plan on doing this and hopefully find another rewarding PM job making a lot more than I am now/ But this is how I do it I have a child and she goes to montesori daycare I chip in my 2k a month for family and BUY a HOME fund. I put roughly 600 in mutual funds the rest goes to food. gas car toys I have extra cash to play with because I rent. I rent a home for 1200 a month that includes utilities. I have a basement apartment which is my man case full of display cases a 46 inch flat panel with my laptop attached and a desktop attached as well. A stocked bar and a 80 gallon African Tank I have 4 other bedrooms plus a double garage last year I bought my wife a 2004 Hyundai elantra GT Minty with 150k on it for 4000. She only used it for work and back I drive a very well taken care of 2003 Hyundai Elantra GT that I modded Take care of both cars and have paid in full cash paid the insurance in cash in full for the whole year Paid the internet and Phone for 2 years in full Write off my 150 dollar a month Iphone bill which leaves me with cash to spare. The old line of pride of ownership is a fallacy Renting or Financing is the cost of living in a modern industrialized city My living standard is no better or worse than my neighbor across the street that bought his home but is under the delusion that its his. Nope. Its still the banks until the last payment. He just lost his job as a business analyst at a pharmaceutical company and looks very ill as he cant get another job and cant make payments on his home. His wife who didnt work is now working at walmart! Like Pete said there are advantages to renting and the biggest is mobility which is what you want in bad times. When the city wants revenue they hit the homeowner first cause they know they cant just walk out and leave. After reading several books on the current market paradigm im in agreement that its a good time to rent in bad times and when you have enough cash and the time is right buy that home. Im planning on buying the uglist shack poo box . why cause I will gain immense pleasure fixing it up slowly as there is no rush since im already living in it . My dad bought a house with only 1000 square feet with a big lot in the middle of the city. Its now 2300 square feet and has many beautiful skylights. Paid off long time ago and when my dad was 42 all 3 house were paid off. He now has been all over the world and even taught english in china a few years ago I have another baby due in June 3rd and Im slowing down a little in my collecting but I will continue until i get bored. In the meantime IM always looking for a way to be my own boss as this is the best thing anyone can do for themselves! Also I forgot to mention me and my wife Mother and brother in law and my daughter eat out frequently. How do we do this I eat at a lot of asian restaurants. Vietmiese , Japanese chinese. you get more food for your buck its fresh and many more dishes to choose from and Im not talking about cheap white mans chinese food im talking about the original stuff and I have a full bar plus I buy my meat at a chinese market which is fresh as chinese will only buy fresh food. Here is an example I go a large chinese chain grocery store and buy one average sized lobster. It cost me 10-15 bucks at one of the white large super mall where you can BUY EVERYTHING grocery chains it cost 25-35 bucks! Come on GMAN dont you listen to George Carlin there just words Good words to use for emotion! Pete
  14. haha im a croat!!! Dubrovnik ROCKS! Go to brela and hvar you love it there too! Split too!!!!
  15. Interesting no one has responded to saving up for the 1/2000 SDF Another thing that interests me is that why do you guys keep buying recolors of the same mold. Size and remolds I can understand as improvements in design will improve by size change as a second release but buying multiples of the same thing in very similar colouring patterns I think is a waste of money. You love the mechs but I think that borders on obesing on the obsession. Why do you do it.

I have already stashed the 700 away for it "
  17. Thanks for answering that Would nt it make sense to instead have a static mech with a flight pack IE the Strike Gundam, Dragonar. To me its more efficient to make a highly mobile mech with more weaponary than your conventional VF that if you damage any part of the wing you would have to fight in the Battroid mode anyway. Plus although they may have more thrust to compensate for the heavier weight, the over all battroid design is a litte thin on armor to be very effective with the heavily armored and very mobile zentradi mechs. That is why they dont use variable fighters. Even the Zeta makes more economical sense than a VF. Dont get me wrong just a big macross fan arguing the rational facts about using a VF in a war where the most battle ready mech would survive
  18. Since it sounds a lot of you here can afford more than the regular line mecha out there you must have engineering jobs. I have been wondering about the realistic features of a transforming plane. Mainly. Its wings. The wings need to be light to reduce the overall weight of the plane. And they do bend upwards when in flight and I have noticed when traveling the wings do have a lot of give in flight. My point is that the wings on the plane are the most sensitive thing on a plane without them its not a plane. So when the Vfs are dogfighting in air and transform this must put a lot of strain on the wings themselves and would either snap or totally destroy the airfoils which control lift. If they made them extra strong it would make the fighter to heavy to fly. I think it would have had more sense to fight the sentradi using static mech modes with flight packs ie Strike Dragonar etc Do you agree?
