I don't think it's broken. It's just loose.
I also noticed that Destro doesn't have the double jointed knees like the other figures. :\

I finally got around to opening my Cobra 5-pack today.
I'm really pretty disappointed. Storm Shadow has a floppy torso right out of the box. Destro's left hand is so gnarled he can't hold his briefcase. Cobra Trooper is ok, I guess. At least he can hold his rifle. I couldn't get Baroness into a pose that didn't look ridiculous so I put her back in the package. Her neck is sort of hunched forward and her hair gets in the way of putting her right arm in certain poses. Her hips are so wide that any position I put her legs in leaves a huge weird gap in between. I didn't unpack Cobra Commander because I already have the hooded one on my display shelf.
I would prefer if the display stands had debossed the Cobra emblem. It tends to get in the way of their feet being in certain poses.
After these I think I'm going to be a lot more choosy about which other Joes I buy. Meh.

I'm gonna skip 'em.
The black and gold is not only tacky, but the font they used for "25th Anniversary" is ugly and crass.
Meh.

Ugh... the script looks even worse up close.

Hell, if Yamato make's Dobber's scheme, I'm buying one. That scheme was just so kick ass, it would be the thing to make me buy the SV-51.
Hell yes!

Yuck, the font on those is "Brush Script", which is one of the most hackneyed fonts ever created. It belongs in the hall of shame along with Hobo and Comic Sans.

Still, I may buy one of these, even if I have to remove the script printing. We shall see.

My favorite Destro today (that doesn't look like a 70s bare chested goon or the leopard print pimp is the Iron Grenadier gold-head Destro.
Don't you be badmouthin' Pimp Destro. He will SLAP you.

Ok, I admit I bought this because of the sheer ridiculousness of it.

I've had good luck with a fine-tip Gundam Marker.

Here's a picture of my stealth VF-1J. It doesn't show up all that well in the photo, but you can see them a bit. I used a black marker, but on one of the white fighters I'd recommend a gray or light brown.

These pics make me want to buy this set. Well done!

Spider-Man wasn't supposed to be a pansy
Uh, actually Peter Parker was a wussy nerd until he became Spider Man. That was VERY true to the Spider Man story.
It has always been about a nerdy awkward guy who moonlights as a super hero, but never can quite get his life in order.
Regardless... Iron Man looks AWESOME.

We all knew it was coming, but w00t nonetheless.

Wicked awesome.
Wish I had the budget to bid on it, but my wife has these bizarre notions of a "vacation" this summer.

Classics starting back up is the best Transformers news I've had all year.

Here are some pics of my Revoltech Prime and Megatron.

I've said it before I will say it again. . .
The VF-2 HAS to be made in to a toy.
I agree. I would buy it so HARD.

That thing looks to me like it's the front wheels of the Tumbler.
My hypothesis is that the Tumbler gets munched and Bats has to eject in this little tumbler-cycle.

How much was the EMS shipping? I've never ordered something from HLJ that had to be shipped EMS.
-
I'm waiting to see if they've fixed the breaking issues, and to see what other color schemes are made.

Completely off track:
Has anybody purchased Revoltech Optimus or Megatron?
Worth $22?
Yep. The figures are pretty small... but the posability is unparalleled.
Here are some pics of mine.

I haven't yet invested in the Megatron, but I think I will, just so Prime has some metal ass to kick.

I broke Prime's shoulder off while trying to get his damn hand to pop out of the wrist socket.
I don't think I'd call them fragile, but do be careful.
