  1. I must say, using that white glue for wood is one hell of a fix, I was trying to decide between the nail polish and the white glue, but something about the nail polish just didn't convince me, bought myself the glue, and started fixing my 1/60 and a few loose joint on my VF-0S, worked like a charm... by the way, on that loose shoulder of the VF-0S, were the black rubbery thing tends to fall out and leave the joint loose as a gooser, I just cut a pencils eraser but a bit thicker than the black rubbery thingy and replaced it, better than new...
  2. hmmm....why couldn't they just make it tad bigger, wouldn't that cut the final price since they would not have had to dealt with little pieces???? hmm, too expensive for me... the idea of the Macross is that it's supposed to be huge, that thing looks like a freakin' keychain
  3. oh, Ooooooops...thanks, I always forget there's a complete other part of Macross world that's not the forum, hehehe, thanks a bunch!
  4. wow, but to cut out a 100+ discontinued book?, maybe you should try some good lighting and take pictures first
  5. I would like one, good idea, how much do we have to pitch in?
  6. so, never seen this before, any ideas? Macross game for pc
  7. I haven't pulled the head too hard, it actually just poped off when i was transforming it once...maybe they forgot to glue that piece toguether or something, other than that my VF-0S came with no major flaws
  8. Hey Graham, BOT, any idea why the top part of the VF-0S head comes off??? i read your review and couldn't find it, and wit the new YF-19 there's a reason so you can see the inside mechanics of the head, so why does the VF-0S comes off?? just curious
  9. definately, would finally give me a reason to use FS2004 again
  10. yeah, I notice that too, good thing they but Kawamori line art and not a CGI, by the way, it was about time, the webpage was terribly outdated, hope it's something good whats coming for the 25th anniversay, and hopefully not too expensive
  11. oh man, I can't believe we all go this crazy over a toy, hehehe, it is a very sexy and sleep one, by the way, just order mine from action-hq, good price now to go and play with my other sleek and sexy toy 'cause i'm a very happy man (girlfriend), hahahaha!
  12. I want one now!! what's a good price for the 19??? i've seen a couple on ebay, but the shipping costs are over the top...
  13. errr...i've never seen the 19 swept its wing backwards for high speed, when was this featured in the macross series??? is the crooked gunpod a problem in the pod itself that's twisted or is the handle that isn't locked stra9ight to the pod?
  14. WOW! great review, I so want one now, but damn Yamato is hurting my pocket so badly, damn stealth VF-1 with fast pack was expensive as hell, I hope I can hold my own and try to wait for the 2nd release, altought, the issues encountered by Graham don't really bother me, hehehehe
  15. well, we could assume there some info lost in translation, I recall a usual translation problem with Global's rank between japanese and english, something along the lines that trying to give him the correct rank rather than the one given in japanese a complete mess was made in the translation, perhaps this may also happened between all the pilot ranks, specially with the differences between Macross TV and DYRL
  16. ahhh...must be that, my memory was just mixed up, mostly 'cause of the mix up Yamato models I have. gotta dust off the old macross tv DVD's and DYRL and get up to date with this things how can you guys remember all this little details?, wow! and I thought I was a macross fan! hahaha
  17. damn...I could've sworn I saw a different number on his valkyrie on the TV series, that's the DYRL model, maybe I should recheck
  18. sooo...if Roy's valkyrie was 001, Hikaru's was 011 and Max's was 013, who was 012???' it wasn't Kazikazi 'cause I remember he wasn't 012, but I don't remember exactly what valkyrie number he was, any idea?, or was this just another nameless cannon fodder number??'
  19. good post, if you think about, what you're implying is much like the Macross 7 plot, since the protodevlin had brainwashed personel from the macross 13 (was it the 13?), and having vf's vs vf's space battle and whatever a bit off topic, what I found most shocking and intriguing in Macross plus, is how easy Isamu avoided Earth advance space defence weapon platform that was just silly
  20. I just bought mine on ebay, after I get it shipped and built I'll post pics of it, I've been fathoming the idea of perhaps custom painting in a 'stealth' scheme since I already have a Yamato VF'0S, but I'm not sure it could look right... it's been such a long time that I've built a scale model, hope I'm not rusty, I'll do my best since it was NOT a cheap product
  21. hahaha!, no problem, thanks, I always get those mixed up, mostlly 'cause I'm wasted right now!! hehe
  22. so, I was searching and reading through a lot of the old macross world posts and read about who killed Roy Fokker were it is a common mistake to think that Milia shot Focker, althought it is never seen I always knew that Roy Fokkers death was reminiscent of the Red Barons death (Manfred Von Rochthofen) in WWI, where he was in a routine mission with his flying circus, engages some Canadians aircraft shooting down a few while he fend off some anti aircraft artillery also. The red baron is shot but manages to land his aircraft in a field, when his aircraft is found by local farmers they find his dead body shot right trought the chest (supposedly trought the heart itself), but still manage to safely land his focker tri-plane, thus never getting shot down. History counts the mortal shot to a canadian pilot who engaged him, but recent investigations showed that the canadian aircraft had no way to get a clear shot of the red baron and new evidence showed that he was probably shot by an unknown AAA operative (lucky shot), thus, making his death a mistery as to who killed him... much as in Roy Fokker case, we never see who shoots him, and it could not have been Miria since she was deeply engaged against Max, and we do get the refence of him getting mortaly shot and still managed to land his aircraft and die later, thus never getting shot down, which if i remember correctly, it was something Roy himself was very proud off let's not forget the reference of his name itself, Roy Fokker, the red baron flew Focker airplanes, and of course at the ending of the episode itself were Misa tells Hikaru that Roy is dead and he drops the little model aircraft that Roy gave him, whoch was, of course, a Fokker aircarft with Luftwaffe insignias so, anyone else has any other Macross reference to real world historical happenings?
  23. woaaa...ok, sorry guys, i did a quick search and mostly read macross 7 bashing, guess i should've search more in depth, anyway, thanks for the answers, mods are free to delete this thread if they wish
  24. so...in the original Macross, we ge to see that the Macross had to undergo a transformation to fire the main cannon 'cause the it has undergone battle damage and the pin point barrier was interfiering or something like that but why did the Battle 7 had to transform every time to fire the main cannon?? I don't think it was ever explained in Macross 7 and the VF-17 was inspired in the F-117, so was the VF-17 stealth also or what??
  25. ok...so basicly, what's the most logical solution is 1. Pre-SW1, The Zentradi just went back to their base and swith into new equipment (built by who?) 2. Post-SW1, Zentradi learned to built and repair stuff and could reuse and repair their old equipment 3. Post-SW1, new mecha for the Zentradi were probably upgraded by human cultured Zentradi ok, I got a new question about the Zentradi according to the TV show, if Zentrans and Meltrans were not to correlate between each other, how did Lord Bodolza gave orders to the Meltrans and how could they report back to him???
