  1. I'm so close to being done with WaW, I'm so glad I'll never have to play it again. I still play more CoD4 multi than anything else. I'm all over MW2, if only I had the cash for the prestige edition (gamer tag is BedivereXIV)
  2. I almost didn't, I just happened to see an ad in the paper from TRU for it with a bunch of extras and it seamed like a good deal. CoD4 is by far my favorite multiplayer FPS. much better than Halo 3 (I found Halo 3's mulity kind of frustraiting, the leveling system sucked and the inability to enter and leave mid game made it hard to enjoy a casual game. I enjoyed the Single player of halo 3, and this one looked interesting at least.
  3. if they're 1/32 maybe. if it's so small and saturated you're just shooting yourself in the foot if you charge a rediculous amount for something as dinky as a 1/60 would be. If it's 1/60, it should be $50 for a legioss, $90 for a tread.
  4. but you can still carry a big ass Gatling gun. I got a copy today but I'm waiting until I finish up WaW before I give it a go. I didn't preorder so no Sgt. Johnson, but I got a $20 gift card and a free ODST figure. (special deal at toy's r us)
  5. But the battroid mode TOTALLY makes up for it. There's nothing cooler than cloven hoofs and chest protrusions that block your peripheral vision.
  6. there you go
  7. ok, just to throw some random facts into the original question. according to the VF-1 Master file book, of the 5459 valks produced, only 49 were originally VF-1J's (with VF-1J's being VF-1's build under license in Japan by Shinnakasu). Ok, so the reason you see multiple VF-1J's in SDF:M is because in that version of SW1, most if not all of the Japanese produced VF-1's ended up being set to South atria to equip the SDF-1; in DYRL? the majority of the 1J's remained in Japan or where shipped elsewhere. the 1 VF-1J that did happen to end up on the SDF-1 was probably delivered along the GPB-01 from shinnakasu.
  8. ok, now I KNOW you're just trollin
  9. I'm just going to come out and say it. I think the gullet could be just a smidge bigger.
  10. totaly, I want everthing that's on page 50 of the VF-1 Master file book. AMRAAM's; sidewinders; 2,000lb paveway II's; 500lb iron bombs on TIR's; and center line fuel tanks. yeah, let's make that happen.

  12. HA HA, Oh wow. that makes my day. (although I think you need to hang a bic pen off the ghost's canard for the rail gun.)
  13. Sure, but the VF-2SS ISN'T AWESOME. An ugly design is an ugly design is an ugly design. I've got a plenty open mind, If someone designs an awesome transforming mech, I'd by it, if it look good. the VF-2SS DOES NOT LOOK GOOD. In fact, I never said anything about not liking it because it's not an SK design, stop trying to put words in my mouth. the different designer comment was in reference to the complete lack of unity between the VF-2SS and the SAP packs. they don't look like they're supposed to be together AT ALL. It's like 1 guy designed the Fighter, then another guy designed the SAP packs without even looking at the other guy's fighter design, then they set both designs off to the animators with a note saying, "Just figure it out!"
  14. but on the Armored VF-25, everything looks like it's supposed to be their. It may be over the top ridiculously armed, but it still looks like it's supposed to be that way. the VF-2SS with SAP looks like a Fighter being humped by another fighter that was designed by a completely different dude.
  15. If it's good enough I might be in for one. Good enough of course means being at least as detailed as the Toynami bata, more anime accurate than the CM or Toynami's, the combo needs to connect securely and in a way that isn't ugly, and you need to be able to roll both jets on their landing gear without anything dragging. also, I legioss/TREAD combo would be rather small in 1/60; even together they're only going to be about a foot long in fighter mode. on their own the legioss is going to be down right tiny. At that size I wouldn't pay more than $200 for a combo pack. what Yamato really needs to do though is get the license and molds from beagle and finish the 1/10 ride armor line. I want a big, accurate, blowsperior damn it!
  16. If complicated/fragile transformation is an issue then the 2SS is deffinately out. http://www.new-un-spacy.com/macross2/vf-2s...sformation1.gif http://www.new-un-spacy.com/macross2/vf-2s...sformation2.gif just a mess of big parts dangling everywhere off of tiny double and tipple hinges.
  17. I like this kit, but I'd actually prefer something closer to the official line art. and if Yamato thinks there aren't enough options for repaints with the VF-4, they need to take a look at Talo's Photobucket account. infinite repaint options ready to go. http://s229.photobucket.com/albums/ee312/T...olored/?start=0
  18. Dude, the extra intakes are totally practical. You need the inner one's to cool the arms... in space. and lets not forget the intakes on the leg and arm armor
  19. I've noticed, I've been there. (I'm a quarter Japanese by the way)
  20. If you can't see how it looks like a design rejected form zeta gundam and think that a lumpy mess of a fighter being humped by another lumpier fighter is art, that's your problem.
  21. haven't they already?
  22. [sarcasm]I think it's got more to do with Japan being very ethnocentric and not believing in other languages (they think they're just roomers and myths.) [/sarcasm]
  23. I'm sorry but that is incorrect. the correct answer was "shaloom"
  24. sure, Just send me $1,500 and I'll get right on that
  25. because it looks like a white turd with wings; and the fact you like it doesn't help it's case. quoted for truth.
