Say is there a Macross Papercraft model out there?
-
First part of the trailer happened I'm like, ok this might be a OK movie about pilots in some sort of new plane. Then came the AI drone, I knew it would be Human Vs. Computer right then and there. I mean why does it always have to be the AI going rogue and ppl having to take it down all the time.

I really wanna try this game out to use that wire weapon she has in it, you know dangle ppl by there legs and scare the other enemies.
-
its nice to see all the custom designs in its own thread finally. Tho you shoulda put a warning about it being image intensive.
-
I think its a japanese version of das boot, but with a girl as their secret weapon.
-
lol the fun part about looking thru the whole big stack of old Hobby Japan's is seeing all these models again and finding real gems of stuff.

*cough* got my name wrong, but hey at least there are updates
Its Sheldon. -
Just did this in 10min. (maybe that's a bad thing) 3 guesses on what it is.
you did the one i was doing, i was also going to do the Rx-78 final shot, but i am going to skip doing this now, i have to much art to do on the side, i also suck at useing this MS paint, i prefer the old fanished way of pencil and paper scan it in to the computer and color it that way. here is a quick one i did, i am still learning to color with the program
chris
my bad. but yours is really nice. I was thinking about doing a Gundam Seed one, but for some reason the headless gundam came to mind when I started doodling.

Crap, maybe we ought to have a thread dedicated to everyones' collections, so we can brag. I'd be at the bottom. I only have a few EVA, Gunbuster, and Final Fantasy X figures set out, as I hate to take all others out of the box. Those are packed away. Anyways, I like your collection. Where the hell do you sleep?
lol that sound like my room. Its got the bookshelf of anime stuff with all the boxes still holding all those resin statues I have. I only have on display is my valk and some PG gundams.
-
here's another design. did it under 10 minutes on my notebook, hope you like it too. (this one looks less than an EVA).
by the way, that VF-1MW looks sweet, just like the R-1 head in SRW alpha.
That would cool on the 19 but I really don't like how the bullet chain is hanging out on the side. Is that a bullet chain?
-
I bow down to your amazing work. That's awesome.
-
Yes they are doing the Narnia movies. Keeping themselves busy.

KingNor hates inverted images.
Actually that's a pretty good design for a head.

Hey guys, not sure if the first season is even done or mini series or what have you, but is there any plans for a DVD release? like SOON?
DVD of the mini series is out already. Since the show is on it's first run in the US, we won't see the US release until sometime late 2005. UK'ers will get the first season DVD's sometime mid year.
It's been speculated that the US release will likely to have more in the way of more extras just like the mini series (UK release was a bare bones release, US had full length commentary, 40 plus minute lowdown featurette on the mini, as well as a lot of interesting deleted scenes).
Part of Sci-Fi's way to keep people from importing the DVD's possibly. The 3rd episode was cut in the UK (the scene in the briefing room between Starbuck and Flat Top's masturbation innuendo was cut) but aired in it's entirety in the US.
Also, lots of scenes were cut from the broadcast episodes for time constraints. We might get those on the DVD release hopefully. One important one dealt with the picture the pilots tap on their way out of the ready room. That picture was a Colonial solider looking at all the destruction on Caprica, a sort of nod to the iconic 9/11 fire fighters raising the flag at Ground Zero as a "we shall never forget" type icon and was supposed to have been given to Roslin in '33' and spread throughout the fleet. Would have been cool, and prevented people asking,
"what is that picture?"
So that's what was up with that picture they were tapping. Now I"ll have to get the mini series dvd's. I just thought the classic series was the only one out.

It's 230 A.M. and I'm having my free time now, BSG plays on Space TV on saturdays here I think. I'll probably never have a chance to watch it regularly as I have yet to see one ep. however I did see the pilot movie and it rocked.......so I have to read what's posted here until the DVD's are avalable

Just do like me and set the VCR to record it, then watch it later.

Cute
I'll be afraid to set on them and crush them.

Great moments in anime....done in MS Paint
in Anime or Science Fiction
