The other branches are pretty obvious as they conform to the standard Armed Forces of today. The oddity is the UNSAF, which the TIAS: Macross Plus book shows stenciled on the side of several VF's, but what is its responsibility as space would really be the remit of the UN Spacy.

United Nations Space Marines. Is it me or does that one sound like it came from Aliens. I know that this branch would be formed.

I think we should just be glad that prime come with the matrix no matter how tiny it'll be. Hopefully we won't lose the thing.

The SV was meant purely was as the Anti-UN main fighter aircarft, never intentioned to fight gaint aliens. It didn't need the space ablilities then, I think that when ASS-1 crashed the UN released overtechnology to certain "grey" countries to get them into helping with the VF's and Macross and it leaked to the Anti-UN to make the SV.

The SV had what a 2 part extending neck. It gave it a better ability to see things than the VF's head. Your right in how the neck looks a little too skinny for it to be moving around while moving, maybe he was going slow.

Most people from Macross comes from other branches and then move to the Spacey. Shin is from the Navy, Katie is from the Marines. I think its just that the UN Spacey gets the VF's.

Finally it comes out. Its been what? 2,3 years since they finished releasing the volumes. Will pick it up for completeness and Ruri.

The whole movie is alot of brown/grey/black until the very end. A whole lotta art film with action, but its very well done action.

I just hope that when its realeased it doesn't have that much yellow on it. How are they making the matrix light up anyways?

It kinda goes along with the half 1/1 Gundam. It does nothing, just looks cool and gives people the idea of how big things would be.
