My very first valk was a half completed Gerwalk model that I found in a pile of stuff some friends of the family gave us. It wasn't painted and the backpack hadn't been put on yet. It was cool then cuz its arms and legs moved and the wings did as well. Trashed it. #2 was 1/60 VF-1S Yamato. I swear I could break stuff with that thing.

Ahh, the Virtual Boy. That thing was called the eye killer by the group of friends I hung out with. You'd go blind playing it for more than 30 mins. I think at one point in time an optometrist was haning out next to the display stand so you could see how bad your eyes where afterwards. j/k The games on that thing were a pain to play.

The japanese release of manga 8 just came out recently. I think they're up to the ep. where shinji is absorbed into the EVA. Personally me, I don't think Gainax is worrying about the manga because Yoshiyuki Sadamoto is working on it and it won't stray too far from the series.
