  1. Pic from 2Chan, posted at ToyBoxDX. I know nothing about this breakage other than the pic, but I do know this shoulder hinge was something I was concerned about.

WTF.. so does that mean that new VF-1 didn't only inherited the zero valks (1st rel) transformation, but also its major issue as well???

    :blink::unsure:

  2. MaveRick, That LV2 looks great in completely in gray.

Now just need the completely grayed out aircraft.

B)) You have just photographed the new LV3. B))

yeah.. i have been thinking of a LV2 in mono (gray/black) would definitely look a lot better than.. err.. even the stealth type.

anyway.. more pictures of it.. in full colors

  3. OMG... this pic reminds me the old MW days... "the wall of Yamato".

sigh... Graham posted a pic of his "huge" yammie collection, consisting (IIRC) on 12 1/72's... And THAT was amazing...

Now, 8 years later, take a look at this... geez!

    Me wants!

mine's definitely not as many as the big time guys have here.. just had fun looking at those boxes while piling them up, so i just took my cam and made a single snap shot.. i already placed them back at their designated big boxes, about 1/4 of my collection's been taken out and displayed right now as i have other toy lines i dedicated some space at my cabinets.

here's the colored version.. pic's a little blown out..

still have a few more mechs to get before i could finally say "my collection's finally complete!"

Dante74: your pictures do look good.. i can see how narrow the D.O.F. is especially on the first picture.. definitely only a camera with large sensors (DSLR) could most likely achieve.

  4. doesn't really matter.. it all drills down to your personal preference

aesthetically, i prefer the 1/48 since they are more or less of the same "size" as the other mechas especially the recent releases. in a non-hobbyist sight (which generally doesn't have any idea at all as to what scale are the VF-1, 0, YF-19 etc. etc.) it looks more complimenting to see a display of different valkyries with the same sizes.

  5. You need to post pics of your YF-19 with the mechanical base stup first before you sleep dammit!

i was already working on the dio setup for it, i had a couple new crew kits i worked out last night.. but got hooked up to doing some photoshoot of my other toy lines hehehe.. (anime statues)

hopefully i'll get the chance to take some quick shots of my now loosed YF-19 later..
