Here's a wild idea.. why can't anyone finish a game before it's released anymore?

Turn everything into a subscription model for non-stop cashflow.. yeesh. <_<

That ship sailed a long time ago unfortunately, now you need to have a business plan past pre order and initial sales or the producers won't give you the time of day. The last "big" game to try an everything will be included in the price of the game with free DLC later was Titanfall 2 and in the end Respawn Entertainment ran out of money and had to be bought by EA.

I still think AC7 came out good after it's long development hell and I'd even say its a finished game without any of the upcoming DLC. Course we don't know anything about the 3 story missions that are coming up so my opinion may change if they are integral to AC7s main story or just a side story.

  2. New trailer is out for the DLC planes and I'm a little disappointed in the choices to be honest, I guess the idea was to show the history of the ADF series. Oh well it'll be fun to have the FAEB and MPBM back to blow up everything.

  3. Wow over $1000 is pretty crazy, maybe even a little scary if people are actually buying them at that price. At these prices I'm sure Bandai sees what is going on and will release either a reissue or an Arad 31A to make a quick buck.

  4. Every now and again when I feel like fiddling with something I'll transform a valk but on the older stuff once I find a pose I like I usually stick with it. I have most of my valks in fighter mode at the moment, been thinking about doing a full change over soon.

  5. The armor is just as ridiculous as I was hoping it would be, even the price is outrageous! Can't wait to get one, finding a place for it in the display cabinet might be a bit difficult though.

  6. Wow Yellow looks great, can't wait to see him in bike mode! I'm not too keen on that Legioss for some reason, I'm not sure why but it just looks a little off to me. Maybe some better shots and poses will win me over.

On another note, I'm leaving Mission 14 alone for now and trying - dear GOD, am I trying - to S Rank Mission 9, which I think is an even more impossible task. That's the one where you can't go above the clouds or a satellite-guided missile will take you out. On Ace difficulty, with the right equipment, you can take three hits in quick succession before dying, or multiple hits if enough time passes between the second and third hits. But the mission is just such a pain all around. The time bonus seems really generous this mission, though, and I managed to get an A even without shooting down EVERY single enemy in the first half, so maybe I can just be patient and really make sure I take everything out.

For mission 14 I used the Su-47 with dumb bombs and upgrades for the bomb damage and area of effect. Getting through the canyon quick is good but the best way to get a big time bonus is blowing up the base quick and staying on top of any ground reinforcements that pop up so the helo force can take it over faster.

I had a lot of trouble with mission 9 as well, finally got it with the F-35 maxed out for taking damage and 8agm with special missile perks. I destroyed most of the ground targets on the way to the final tgt then used the time between when the missiles stop and when the cutscene starts to shoot down the ace and a few other ground targets. Good luck!

I ended the campaign with roughly 1.5 million in the bank, so it wasn't difficult to play the first 3-4 missions again and get enough to unlock the X-02. And... I'm kind of disappointed, honestly. It doesn't have that immediate wow factor that the... I forget what the superplane from AC6 was, but the Wyvern doesn't have its "two dozen lock-ons and initiate the Macross Missile Massacre" wow factor. I hope - HOPE - that once I unlock the part that widens the EML area of effect, I'll be able to use it more purposefully, but for now, it's just... a better end-game plane.

(Also the parts indicate there's something with a laser somewhere out there, and I can't wait to see what it is. A Falken, perhaps? Something else? Something new? Something from AC3???)

Yeah the Nosferatu would be way too good in AC7 with it's missile massacre attack, there aren't as many enemies so one or two volleys would probably wipe a map out. As for laser planes I know the Su-37 has it since I ran the Suhkoi route first and I think the F-15E has it too, the laser isn't all that great on its own but with upgrades you can fry the drones from a safe distance pretty quickly. No word on an unlockable Falken yet, the big fear is that it's being saved for DLC.

    This is golden... retriever.

I noticed that too when I was playing last night, all of the cutscenes in-between missions seem to be this weird real world/cg hybrid. It's kinda fun to try and figure out whats real and what isn't.

Where will it be sold, please?

You mean the soundtrack? I'd guess the usual places like iTunes since they have the soundtracks for AC2, 5 and Zero. Course they may wait a bit to release it so people will buy the music player add on for AC7.

Hi, great forum here!  I've been reading through most of the recent posts (~ last 6 months).  I just ordered my Stick and Ray from amiami.  Someone mentioned a rerelease and potential fixes to the original.  When I receive my figures, is there a way to tell if they are early or rerelease versions?

Welcome! The best way to tell is when you take it out of the box the shoulder armor and ankle guards will constantly pop off. They fixed the tolerances in the second run so that's less likely.
