i am looking for the Space Cruiser Yamato model kit, not the Gattai version... but based on the Soul Of Chokogin from Bandai..., it also featured a cross cut of the entire length of the ship as well. found it once at Mitsua's (formerly called Yaohan) in Arlignton Height's IL.

... the trick is to sand the paint out of the socket then the rubber piece won't slip out.

That, or you can just reposition the rubber piece so that it will not go out.

I actually fixed my seepage and used as much of the rubber material as possible, not only did the squeeking stopped, but the leg is a lot more sturdier than before.

Go figure... (um... pun intended).

the only QC problem I got is that seepage of the rubber joint that connects the leg to the crossT section.

that's BD2 and BD3 for those that have the manual in front of them.

after shipping, it's past $250, I can go to my local store and get this for around $200 + tax and have it same day.

And that's one of the cheaper auctions I've seen, other's are over $300. I mean, two of the games come with the system. Halo 2 is $50, Xbox with 2 free games is $150, add tax, and you're set.

Also, I've seen the new slim PS2 going for over $200 with the auctions stating that it is out of stock everywhere. Is it? I was just at walmart and gamestop yesterday, and they both had plenty in stock for $149. Am I missing something?

Since this might be fodder for this thread, I just wanted to say right now that there is going to be at least one or more Macross related developments on the Harmony Gold end of things that might be announced VERY soon.  I have absolutely no idea what they are, but just keep your eyes peeled.

Just wanted to update what I said a few weeks ago.

Regarding the Macross development I was talking about, I am not sure now if anything specific is going to be announced, but there is going to be some major Robotech related announcements coming very soon, some of which could effect Macross directly or indirectly. Sorry for being cryptic, but I have to cover my source.

In saying so...., HG may ask Big West for licsence and rename the series to Macrotech? How about Robocross?

Check the scalper's dens in your neighborhood. They're normally characterized by a putrid stench, unkept lawns, with cars parked out front covered in witty sayings bumper stickers.

I too want these new alternators, and it is getting harder and harder to find them... so far I got the first 5... Silver Streak, Smokecreen, Hound, Deadend and Sideswipe... still haven't found Swindle, Tracks or Grimlock.

I will admit that is quite true Haterist, I will not argue with you... however, they did play around with the description, that's why I blacklisted it... probably the price should have gave it away. I should have done more research... probably another two more on top of the two I already did.

I would have still bought it even if it was a knockoff, I gotta admit the box was true to form as the Bandai version... but if they were just one more bit truthful as saying that is was a knockoff, but commented on the quality of the product, I would have been satisfied... probably I am just anal about it... but I already got burned by several knockoffs before [b4 joining macrossworld].
