  1. i'd definately buy a 1/48 max 1S. this is my favorite combat valk of all time. i'd buy a 1/48 elintseeker & superostrich 1st,but a max 1S would definately be on the list. until then,i've got a resin 1S head just waiting for a max 1A donor body

  2. man, dump it if you think you can live without it. i did the same thing with the low-viz i bought. i liked it,but not enough to hold onto it long.i'm low on space too,so i only collect a few prized valks now instead of all of them.i'm VERY picky with my shelf space now ;)

  3. i'm in oceanview, delaware right smack in the center of the east coast of the united states. it's only about 3 hours driving to washington,d.c. B))

****my heritage is half german & half irish.my irish side is strongest & i'm decended from the clan "moran". gotta go see the family castle someday.

seems to ba alot of marylander's here too.i was born in rockville right near gaithersburg!!!

  4. ah,most excellent fulcy!!!! i'm glad someone was considering this project. since it's you that's working on this,i know the final product will be a quality 1. keep us posted with how it's going(if it's not too secret). ;)

  5. is anybody working on casting resin elint/ostrich kits for the 1/48 yamatos? i would think that if you used a strike/super kit as a base that it shouldn't be to hard to make all those pieces.the nose section would be hard i guess, but 2 pilots could be fitted in there with the right talent working on it.the whole cockpit would have to be gutted & redesigned, but that wouldn't be to hard right?

  6. damn danny, you really did a good job on those dude!!! that's a really nice cast hand.i don't think i've seen a better hand for a 1/48 yet.i hope you do end up casting these, cause then i'll be buying parts off of you for a change :p

****edit in****hehehe,i've gotta hand it to you on this 1******couldn't resist

  7. i like everything that these talented people have come up with. i'm so excited to get our own macrossworld box, that i'd be willing to take any of the designs that made the cut to the final product. but,if he's gonna make 2 boxes,1 with characters & 1 with mecha/ships,then i'm gonna have to go with the mechas.if that ends up not happening though,i'll take whichever box wins.my only hang-up was that i definately wanted a macrossworld logo on there somewere ;)

  8. thank you mod roy for the compliment. most people aren't aware of what happenes to the body after an injury, especially involving shock.the owners of the animal patients i treat almost never know what is happening to their pet.most peoples preceptions of trauma are VERY wrong. it's not that their stupid though.most people don't know that seems o.k. on the outside, doesn't mean o.k. on the inside.it's a tough job,but if your good,it's very rewarding.

  9. it very easily could have been overlooked.he probably only passed valk techs & service crew along the way.they WOULD NOT know what to look for medically even if he had lacerations on his back.especially if he waved them away with a "i'm o.k.,don't bother me look". he was tough & probably didn't want some med tech doting over him like some worried mother.severe internal injuries of the kind to rupture your diaphram usually aren't presented with severe, dissabitating pain.that's why the docs in the e.r. run tests even if you say your o.k. cause the ruptured diaphram & other injuries like it cause the damage much later after the injury.miss that on the initial exam & you have a dead patient. air could also be leaking from a ruptured lung & cause you to slowly sufficate.think about it,your lungs are pressurized so the can expand & contract.if 1 ruptures,it'll slowly loose it's ability to expand & you'll start to pass out from lack of oxygen & then ur a gonner.poor roy,i feel bad for him.his injuries could have been treated effectively if caught right away.that way,he would have gone on to be a great hero for the whole war, instead of just the opening salvos

  10. shock would also deaden his perception of the true nature of his wounds.i'm a surgical tech for animals & they react the same way people do.you'd be surprised how alert & active a dog with his head split open by an axe would be.roy very well could have died before he realized how bad off he was.especially if the muscle wall that seperates the abdomen from the chest cavity was ruptured.it's pressureized to keep your lungs able to work.although if that happened to you, you'd only be a little sore & not knowing what was wrong with you.it's symptoms are easily missed, even by a doctor without trauma experience.so,aside from not being very detailed, his death on t.v. was based in truth

  11. fantastic work shan!!!!!! man,i hope all those parts i sold you had a hand in so nice a custom.if they did, then it makes me happy they went to such nice custom.that's phatty-bo-batty dude B))

  12. damn it,i needed to do car maintenance w/ my tax return too.oh-well,i may have to resort to bike riding, but at least i'll have these 2 honeys :p:p

  13. although,i'm single now,all the girlfriends i've had in the past would have purchased any macross toy(or other) if they knew i wanted it. i guess the key is letting them know how important your hobbies are to you. when i took my girl to otakon in august. i had to stop her from buying me too much. she just said to pick what macross stuff i liked & she'd hook it up. :p

  14. i would guess it to be made out of a nylon-type webbing. leather wouldn't hold up to 40-foot tall mech wear & tear. hmmm, using it to tie up an "enemy". now i know why max never left that meltran ship he was in in DYRL?

    :o:p
