  1. Cool.

But maybe you should post the link at least once every page just so people don't have to dig around for it.

Right there in my signature, :)

It will be a little time before new mecha profiles are up, we are wanting to get as many done as possible at first.

Meanwhile I'm working on new character profiles, and will hopefully have some new pictures up for those as well soon, as soon as things slow down at work.

  2. Although the MACROSS series becomes the 25th anniversary, exchange also wants to open a

site on a grand scale previously with the MACROSS fan in the world. Then, it hits

establishing and a member is under collection. Since the illustration of original MACROSS,

the sound MID of the MACROSS series, etc. is used for creation of a site, please lend power

by all means for everybody's site. Since it lives in Japan now, please contact me by e-

    mail.

In addition, I work on a sequel signature of Macross 7 now in sites establishing. You had

better have a character just resembles it, and first Lynn Minmay revives and compete with

Bassara before because you do not change with OVA dynamite 7 with a work of Macross 7. And

the 25th anniversary work is not newly better for a work name either. After all should be

glad of one having Mr. Tetsu Amino low of supervision do it same as a previous work. But if

it is possible for a site in a signature to have the production staff of Macross look

wanting to be active by all means first, please write in at an online signature corner by

    all means.

    Organization site representative :plala7

If there are those to send works, such as a question and an illustration, by e-mail, send from here by all means.

    mail:knightsky@khaki.plala.or.jp

Okay I think I might actually know what he's talking about [having to deal with the bosses four year old], I think the fist part is that he wants to start a newsletter possibly connected to his site.

And the second part I think he's saying that he's making a sequel, whether a fan-fic or a actual show or what isn't being stated. After that I'm not sure possibly Minmei popping out of a wormhole or something to have a singing fight with Basara?

  3. Looks like there are at least two transforming mecha... the YF-19/VF-4/VF-0 love child and a subsonic plane which has a forward section similar to the VA-6 and it's partial transformation reminds me of the Logan(?) from Southern Cross which had like a Gerwalk like transformation and that was about it.

That's what I thought about the one plane as well, but thought I might be imagining things.

  4. I've only got a few more... and none with names.

I have a few more for things like the FAST pack equipped VF-4, some magazine pages from Macross World on Macross M3, and the Daedulus/ARMD II spaceship from ?Macross 2036?. I'm not sure if you're looking for these as well, or not.

    Enjoy the pictures.

Sketchley - Any pictures I can get my hands on. Thanks.

Would you be able to translate these as well, http://www.macrossnexus.com/index.php?opti...&Itemid=372

  5. Brief translations (most of the text is too small to be read... or at least read correctly.)

    VF-X3

    Star Crusader

    (Medusa)

(Ekihiya type charged particles??) beam launcher x2

    3 velocity(?) Grenade Rack x2

    Infared Laser System x7

    Micro-missile phalanx x2

    Missile Bay x6

question marks of course mean that as the source Japanese is illegible, the translation isn't 100% trustworthy.

    Thanks Sketchley.

  6. Bad news, that mecha's name isn't in the booklet :(

It only appears once in the game (twice if you play it on hard) and all it does it fly around and attack you with discs that circle around the mecha. It does take a lot of hits to destroy and will fly away if it isn't destroyed within a certain amount of time. I've included two screenshots showing the discs being deployed and them circling around it.

Thanks TheLoneWolf, did it show where the disks came from or did they just appear out of nowhere.

Was there any other oddball mecha in the game.

  7. The Zentraedi mecha in the first pic is from Macross 2036. It could also be in ELS, but I haven't gotten far enough in the game to say so definitively.

The second mecha is from Macross: Scrambled Valkyrie. It's just a generic enemy, but I believe it's name is listed by it's sprite (I doubt lineart exists) in the Scrambled Valkyrie booklet. If sketchley is willing to translate, I'd be more than glad to scan and post it.

    That would be great, thanks.

Hey LoneWolf since it seems you've played most of these games would it be possible to get a short blurb on their tactics and armament from you. I'd like to do a more accurate file on these in the future, and any help I can get would be much appreciated.

  8. How about either one of these, anybody know what these are called -

The first one I've seen called the Magzemig-La [Eternal Love Song] and the second as the Quinlin Rau but I have no idea what game it is from.

  9. There were 3 other Zentraedi battlesuit images that I found at the same time, and from the same source. They are:

Zen1: ギルーザ フリー Giruuza Furii (Gilza Free?)

    Zen3: シグノミュ Shigunomyu (Shignomyu?)

Zen4: シュルケル ガー Shurugeru Ga (Shurgel Ger?)

Thanks Sketchley, you wouldn't happen to have any other Video-Game Art would you.

    Thanks.

  10. Thanks guys!!

@briscojr84 That is the only pics I've seen of it too,...all though yours are clearer than mine. I will be

printing that up and enhancing it.

@valkyrie Well at least I know I'm looking for that book, which was something I didn't know before. You

wouldn't happent to recall if there were any comparison shots of that and a mainstream valk or

destroid would you? I'm trying to gather as much information as possible, thanks.

If anyone else has info or can point me in the right direction in looking for it, I'd be appreciated!!

P.S. How fun was this game anyway? Strategy games are definately my thing and if its a well done macross one all the better!!

Not a problem, if you run across better pics though let me know.

  11. I've sometimes seen magazines like that described as "helical" magazines. Drum magazines usually bring to mind the famous round magazine of the 1920s era Tommy Gun, or the horizontally-positioned magazine of a Lewis gun (or a Zaku!). Mind you, the 20mm Vulcan is often described as having a drum magazine, even though it looks to me more like a barrel!

    Calico's use the helical drums.

  12. He does change it right before shooting down the last enemy. THe clip is ejected from the top of the gun pod and he replaces it with a spare. I just watched it. I could not see where he pulled the spare from but the clip is definetly on top of the pod.

The spare magazines are mounted to the back of the shield.

In the OVA version you can clearly see him eject the old magazine and then slide the gun upwards or downwards [agh, can't remember at the moment] on the back of the shield, I don't know if the movie version shows this or not.

  13. There are some good outside shots of the sub, but that one in the bridge is the only one good enough to use as reference, the others can serve to perfectionate the details.

Some time ago we agreed that the Auerstadt was the "special operations" vessel of a larger AUN force, since it is seen floating with 2 destroyers in chapter 5, and there are some freaky looking Mig-29´s in the last battle. Those facts lead us to think that there was at least one conventional AUN carrier and it´s escorts, operating in the mayan theatre, since only 12 SV-51´s are not enough to take on the Asuka´s battle group.

Would you happen to have any of those pics.
