I have been fortunate enough for my wife to have given me the VF25S Armored Messiah kit! I have been drooling over this kit for a very long time! A weekend off for New Years is just what I need to dive in!
-
Now youre talkin! The Phalanx was always my favorite destroid!

I am not sure if anyone has touched on this yet, but I found this supposed American trailer for the Macross F movie(s). It looks really good, and the voice sounds a lot like one of the voice actors at ADV. Is this a fake?

Speaking of the factory....I was able to find a kit still in the plastic, but without box or instructions. Does anyone know where I might be able to get scans of the instructions?

THe prices I've seen them go for on Ebay are disgusting. I've paid less for figures of higher quality (my couple of Alter figures cost me less!)..but I guess it's people clamoring for Macross F stuff.
true enough, but there is a seller out of Canada who is admittedly not trying to gouge people, he is who I bought from.

My Klan Klan figure arrived this week.....definitely well worth all the bidding, losing, and waiting.....absolutely awesome! Highly recommended!!

I have that kit in my stash - will scan on monday and post....
Cheers,
I have that kit as well, and think I still have the instructions....have to dig 'em out and see....I'll be your back-up ; )

Yeah wish the one I built looked that good! Your job on the kit makes it look bigger than it really is....awesome!

I usually go straight to styrene with lacquers. I've never used a primer. I use Gunze Sangyo colors. As far as dissolving glue....I really have no idea.

Gorgeous kit, man! The Phalanx has always been my favorite of all the destroids....you have really done it justice! BRAVO!!
-
I have to concurr.....there is very little painting that needs to be done on this kit, and the decals are awesome. The cockpit is probably the most intensive area, with the pilot beint the most demanding. This kit was actually a sheer joy to build and I am ecstatic with it's turn out. I encourage you to give it a try and simply post here if you have any questions.

I would definitely pick Ozama's first, then grab Alto's shortly thereafter. I'va always been a Focker fan, and Ozama's has his color scheme.

Thanks for the great links to preorder! Ooooooooooooh, I'm gonna dump a LOT of money! LMAO!!!!

The Bandai 1/60 scale DX VF-25 toys are not scheduled for release until November 2008.
The Bandai 1/72 scale VF-25 model kits are scheduled for September release.
A bit of simple research, i.e. reading a few pages back would dig up this information.
As with all release dates, these may be subject to change.

Thanks Graham....sorry I didnt catch the previous posts. I thought it was a little fishy, but I knew all of you would know what was goin on

I have found a VF-25 (ozama) for sale on ebay....it is from a hong kong seller and is stated to be available for shipment 30 days from purchase...is this for real? Are the Bandai figures being released that soon?

I have been searching and have found wallpaper selection for Macross F is very slim....anyone found or made some good ones?

A little off-topic: I was hoping someone could shed a little light on this.....I have gotten the Macross F OST CD but it did not include a backstage pass ticket which I have seen in several places online. Was the backstage pass a promo or was it supposed to be included with all copies?
