1. Congratulations Tony! Finally you got married!

Now, if you guys are planning babies I recommend you a nice cabonite glass shelf (bullet proof) with temporized locks.

Nice Wedding cake, and hot looking bridemaid.

By the way, you are such nerd. :D

  2. didn't want to start a new thread for something this boring, but I had an idea to do a desert version of the MG Kampher. I'm gonna dry brush some dirt and rust on him, as he would probably be a heavy-use ground unit.  Sorry for bad pics. It wasn't the best idea to take a photo of a brown model in front of a brown wall. :)

WHOOOW!!!! THAT IS WAH I CALL... UGLY!

When you mentioned me you will be doing this custom I tough "whaever, the kampfer will never look bad even if is Guppy the one doing the panitjob" But now I see how wrong I was.

    LOL!!

It really looks nice, and yep, it will be really awsome if you add some weathering! Anyways it already rocks.

I would add some paint in the hands, also it seems you only painted the armor (lazy Aussie) It will really look nicer if you add a bit more paint.

Will you add more details, like panel lines and more declas or you will only add the weathering?? Considering the size I think with the weathering it will look Ok. The colors also are very nice. nice Custom Gup!!

  3. YAY!!!!! Finally!!! Any other confirmation arround??? I have a ticket to HK and I was just waiting the release of this babies to use it! MUAAA HA HA I also need a couple of days off URGENTLY.

Good news. what about the stealth? it should be out this month also, If I can get both in the trip, that would be nice. I cant delay the trip much longer, or my clients will start screaming.

  4. I wonder WHAT the HECK has Samuel L. Jackson, Planes and M.F.ing SNAKES to do in a Anime and Science fiction thread... specially when this are MW boards. Meanining... ANIME (mostly) and Sci fi related stuff.

Everytime I see this thread is still up and running on the first page makes me want to ask G-Man "please make me a moderator".

  5. I wonder if the stickers will be better with this release... <_<

    390310

Forget it. Yamato will give us the SAME crappy ol stickers.

I wonder is the Crappy stickers factory have something to do with any Yamato Ceo preferred karaoke gal...

even the sticker I produce for PADLOCKS are better than the ones yamatos...

  6. Hooooo NO! I cant beleive Yamato will make a low Vis like that!!! It looks "unpainted" It is like the unpainted resin sculp we saw a few months Ago!

Damn Yamato... I guess I will have to buy 10 or 20 just to sell them later at 3x the price tag.

    :p:p

  7. The Fewture Black getter is a really cool toy. Considering the price I was specting a good toy but It really surprised me. SOCs looks like crap besides him.

The Red Vertion will be released in June at about half price of the Ryoma tipe. Cant wait!

  8. Again the same question...

I'm a GM of a small company who solves all the troubles big companies have in China... cant make any easier explanation.

I am happy, have a suppa beautifull wive and a cool kid. lots of toys and a nice life.

    :)

  9. Well... those are just horrible Valks. The paint job, paint schemes... all is just wrong and hugly. A 10 years old boy can brush paint a better cammo than that. And the "low Viz"... not very creative. For such expensive toy they should do MUCH better.

Yamato wont sell much of those hugly things I guess.

  10. Considering how good the Macross offer is right now, and the quality of Toynami... I'am definetelly spending my money on the good big 1/48's Yammies. Considering a 1/60 VF 0 comming SO soon, plus the Garland and so many cool thingies in the next months, a "Banpresto Upgrade" wich already sounds crappy without adding "toynamy" is not an option for my shelfspace.

On Zincpanic they mentioned the possiblity of a SOC VF... now THAT WILL BE SO SWEET. Just check how cool toys are getting lately, more and more "collectors" toys (wich are NOT McFarlane). No way I spend on crappy rubbery PVC anymore... for shelf space sake and because my wife will cut my balls if my toys ever goes out of the "toy room".

So my advice would be... dont spend your moolah on crap and save it for the good stuff.

  11. I'll finish them for you!  Seriously, it's a shame to see it without the funnels....

    370161

Wow, kind offer! But he should do it himself. Lazy old man.

    :p

It's not a Nu Gundam without the funnels!

    370165

Ok, Ok. I WILL finish those funnels and the big gun...

Later will post some pics of the finished thing.

The quality of this pictures are not so good, that is why you guys wont see the many mistakes this model comes with. I know a resin means more work, but this guy was just wrong.

  12. Are you sure it's an original coreworks kit, or is it a recast of the coreworks?  I've bought three coreworks originals, and 2 recasts of coreworks, and the originals are all excellent casts, no air bubbles, clean, everything fits together.  The recasts, on the other hand, are warped, details are missing, and pieces generally don't line up well...

    368488

I am sure it is a recast. After all I got it in Hong Kong... This one was really bad, I did put a lot of work on it but it was almost an interminable work.

Where can I get these conversion kits for reasonable prices?  I've seen the ones on Hobbyfan, but they often cost over $100!   $100 of pieces for a $30 kit is just too much for me.

    368429

Uhm, these kits never cost $30 - and you'll be lucky to find the recasts for that little. The original CoreWorks kits cost anywhere from $130 to $200, and the recasts of these kits cost anywhere from $60 to $110, depending on the kit and number of parts...

    368489

I thik the hobbyfan ones are same as mine, HK recasts. I just saw a feedback left in Hobby fan by a client an he was complaining in pretty much the same way I did. He even bought same kits I did! the FA and the H. Nu. LOL!

I got mine for about 70 USD.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, it looks great!

    368381

    I second that!

    368495

    Thank you guys.

Did it not include the fannel-fins that hang off the side rear backpack pieces?

    369217

Errrr Yep I do have them, as well have the gun, but I got lazy... maybe in the next few years I will finish those parts.
