I don't know about this new Rambo. It sounds pretty...out there. I'll probably still see it anyway.

ditto

Found Target Exclusive Bruticus ... price was right, $29.99.

-
Damn, RotF Bruticus Maximus is out?? Hopefully he will be easy to find ...
-
-
Nice find!! I'm still on the hunt for Jolt, Ice cream truck Skids + Mudflap, and Blaze Master.

-
Fair enough, I know what you mean and completely agree. I suspect that EVENTUALLY, Hasbro will release 25th versions of all the classic Joe characters ... but for now, they're riding the ROC movie momentum.
-
@Mog: You don't like the ROC line? While I don't like everything, and some stuff is CRAP (e.g., PITT base), there are some nice figures in the line. Shipwreck, Sgt. Stone, Reactive armor Scarlett, and Cobra eel are decent. Still looking for a PITT Commando though ...
-
Well, trailer has me curious ....

-
Not in the movie ... it's part of the extended GI Joe toyline in 2010 - the pursuit of Cobra toyline.
-
Anyone collecting the ROC toyline?? Some of the new figures are pretty cool ...
-
Yes they are worth it. They have a significant jump in detail, features, and in my opinion, playability. Very sturdy toys and robot modes look great, better than the deluxes in my opinion. The only thing that the deluxe Sideswipe has over the HA version is being able to integrate the back kibble much better. Also better range of motion for the legs. Other than that, the HA version is more detailed and just has more going on with it.
Thanks for the feedback Shin. I'm leaning towards getting HA Bumblebee, but hesitating with HA Sideswipe. But I know that the compulsive collector in me will want to "catch 'em all", if I start buying the TF HA ROTF toyline.
And they do seem to look awesome alongside the TF Alternators. -
For those of you who own HA Bumblebee and Sideswipe: are they worth the $30 upgrade from the Deluxe versions?? I've seen the video reviews and they both look awesome in car Alternators-sized mode, but the robot mode ... meh, same as the Deluxes, no??
-
Surprisingly, I found a TF Animated Activators Cliffjumper at my local K-Mart today ...

-
-
Has anyone seen the Target Exclusive Combaticons combiner at their local stores??
-
And I want that Jaguar Ravage.
Yep, he's a good TF Alternator IMO. Better than the corvette version ...
-
Saw it this afternoon - went in with low expectations. It was OK. Not great, but not as bad as I thought it would be. I too, was also annoyed that the script changed character origins and relationships (from the classic Larry Hama comic) - to support the movie plot. Baroness and Scarlett were looking good.
Decent effects and action sequences, but the plot was paper-thin. Predictable ending leaving the door wide open for the sequel ... -
ROBOTECH.COM.
The TOU over there's too freaking facist there anyway.
Agreed - those forums suck a$$!!!

-
Nope. Honestly, I don't even recall getting any warnings.
Ditto for me. Although I've been "warned" a few times on the lame a$$ Robotech.com forums for posts that do not confirm to their rules, e.g., referencing an online store to buy macross stuff for another fan, etc. Hence why I don't visit that site anymore.

Combining with Prime has compromised many a good figure. RiD Ultra Magnus is still one of the all-time best TFs IMHO. Even being hampered as he is. Just imagine how awesome he could have been alone.
RiD Ultra Magnus, really? A great figure yeah, but "one of the all-time best"??? I dunno dude, he has very crappy leg articulation (or lack thereof) IMO. Not trying to stir it, just asking is all ...

It doesn't attach anywhere---fiddle around with the straps to trap them between the plane and the legs, and it should be held in place through tension. The straps should pass just inboard of the peg hole that the foot/ankle goes into. Yes, it's godawful design, and I plan to remove the pins to remove the entire assembly (I will never combine mine with Prime).
If you really can't get it, I'll photograph mine.
Thanks for clarifying David ... I just wanted to check that I wasn't doing/missing something obvious. These pieces and the excessive bottom kibble in jet mode really disappoint the toy for me.
I've managed to find most of the Scouts and and Deluxes, save for Jolt ... For Voyagers ... Haven't seen Longhaul, either.FYI, I don't think Jolt nor Long Haul have been released yet. Otherwise there would be some sighting activity on the TF forums.

Opened up and played around with Leader Jetfire tonight ... man, is he a PITA to transform!! Those locking panels were a beeyotch!!
And in step #15, what the hell do you do with the 2 rubber strand things that hang off his hips? I tried to interlocked the 2 together, but couldn't get the assembled piece to attach.

I wanna see it on "ice road truckers"
that is an AWESOME show ...

wow. Just.....wow.
