  1. I bought the YF-21 and the VF-11B and I just want to say that the items were in immaculate condition.  And the packaging...Where do I start?  I had to watch all 3 Oceans movies and the Italian Job to get tips on how to break in to something to find a way through the bubble wrap.  ;)

All kidding aside, the amount of bubble wrap and the packing peanuts in the box were very welcome to ensure that the items I purchased showed up in the best shape possible.

Thank you @Chokinzoku81 for a great purchase and helping me fill out my collection.  Would definitely purchase from again.  Also, thanks for putting both items into the same box.

  2. The actual footage does the blue-within-blue of the eyes better than those posters from earlier in the week.  Glad to see that's looking better.

The baron doesn't look big enough to me.  I always imagined him so big he had to use the suspensors to move around, as in his legs were no longer physically able to hold him he was so big.  The movies never seem to get that detail right to me.

And thank the God Emperor for it!  The most annoying and distracting element of previous film versions have been those cheesy rotoscoped eyes.

I agree they don't need to be glow in the dark blue of the first movie, but if you glance at those images, you're not seeing "blue within blue".  I really had to look to see a blue tint and I'm not even sure if it's there.  From the books, I always imagined that it was quite obvious when someone had spice eyes, and those just don't look obvious to me.

I rarely look at the parts call-outs b/c I never developed the habit

I have the same problem.  I'll start a build of a new set paying attention to the part callouts for the steps, and halfway through the build, I'm back on my old habit of just looking at what's different between the picture and my build and adding the pieces that are missing.

I think ink the problem with getting the numbers together on the large scale version has a lot to do with these being a U.S. release of a toy from a series that was seen here as a less popular third season to a show that already wasn’t the most popular show, by a company almost no one has ever heard of that almost no one has ever seen an actual product from. It’s kind of a huge gamble. There may even end up odd complications wit the upsizing of the toy, like weaker joints that may be worrying others from making the choice to buy.

For me, I like things to be the same scale from the same series/show/etc.  Since the Riobot Legioss releases are 1/48, that's what I want for my Inbit pieces.  The bigger ones don't fit with the rest of my collection so I don't have a need for them.

For those that do want the bigger ones, I do feel bad for them that it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Earth: We've adopted our Fifth Gen mainline fighter, and we're calling it the VF-24. Here are the redacted plans, folks.

Emigrant fleet 1: We can do something interesting with this.

Earth: First off the block! Yours shall be the VF-25.

Emigrant fleet 3: Our engineers are chomping at the bit. They've proposed all sorts of fascinatingly unethical mods.

Earth: And yours shall be the VF-27. --Wait, what?

It does seem to be the way it works.  It would imply there's a VF-26 out there with some other fleet.  Also, considering that what we've only seen up to VF-31 I'm wondering if only a couple of fleets are actively working on developing their own Valkyries.  Either that, or they aren't registering them to get official "VF" designations.

    1. VF-4 Lightening III (have a toy)

    YF-19 (have multiple toys)

VF-1 Super Valkyrie (have almost too many to count in toys...OK you can never have too many)

    VF-2SS Valkyrie II SAP

VF-25 Messiah (I have 2 versions of this one in toy form, with 2 more coming next week.)

    VA-3 Invader

VF-11 Thunderbolt (I have 2 version of this one)

    YF-30 Chronos

    VF-31 Siegfried

    VF-19F Excalibur
