I've ordered from them many times over the last 10 years, but I've had multiple issues with them over the previous year. Same issue as above, but with ModelCollect models instead. Pre-order that was never fulfilled and essentially is now stuck in limbo rather than them canceling it.

Awesome news.

Meteor's head looks fine, the entire thing is being blown out of proportion (get it?). I love mine and I have the other 2 on pre-order. I've always preferred Skywarp and Thundercracker, anyway.
But seriously, what is wrong with the face? I am the exact opposite and I can't stand the MP-3/11 faces. Are we looking at toy vs cartoon accuracy here?

What about a TV Roy VF-1S?

They still plan on releasing the Tomahawk and Phalanx, right? Haven't they shown prototypes of each at some point?

Is this the "best" Zaku II currently available? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071JND3WB/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3G3EFRJI0CY8&psc=1
It's the Zaku II C-5 from the Origin series.

Great. I thought it was some kind of auction site but I was mistaken. Thanks for the help.

Is it easy to order stuff from Mandarake as an American? I'm only used to dealing with hlj and the likes.

Something about this shade for Milia really turns me off. It's more of a dark cherry than what is seen on screen - compared to the Hi-Metal R, for example. One could argue that Max/Milia from that line are perhaps too bright/vivid, but it works for me.

Anyone have a good source for the Regult, other than eBay? I'm in the US.

After nearly a decade long hiatus:
Hi-Metal R Monster
Hi-Metal R Defender
Hi-Metal R Spartan
Hi-Metal R Glaug
Hi-Metal R VF-1A Mass Production
Hi-Metal R VF-1J Hikaru
Hi-Metal R VF-1J Max
Hi-Metal R VF-1J Miria
Hi-Metal R VF-1S Roy
Arcadia VF-1J Max Premium Format (originally had Miria pre-ordered as well at NY, lost preorder because I was out of town... might re-order)
Going a little overboard, yes.

failing that, my favorite image hosting site is imgur.com

The huge push for automation, in all aspects of life, is frightening and a bit confusing. With all the talk about creating jobs and reducing unemployment, people still want to push for automation which just eliminates jobs. If everything is automated what is everyone supposed to do? This isn’t the world of Wall-E.
Chris
The answer to this is that the elites at the top do not care about us. They'll automate everything in order to maximize profits, which will result in an even more destitute populace. I wouldn't be surprised to see universal basic income rolled out in order to keep people docile, at least in the short term. Eventually they will reap what they are sowing, hopefully in my lifetime.
Kind of a random place for this post, but I had to get things off my chest. Planes are really neat, though. Thanks for the interesting discussion as always. -

The Force Awakens stuff was always going to be deadends. JJ's mystery boxes never contain anything. He even gave a Ted Talk where he discussed his flawed belief about his idiotic mystery boxes and the isea that the contents don't matter only the existence of the question. It works for marketing, sucks for storytelling. And his history in media proves none of his mystery boxes have contained anything nor have they been ultimately satisfying. Rian Johnson did exactly what he should have and the only thing he could have really done, removed them.
This is all well and good (I absolutely hate JJ Abrams.) - but Abrams is going to helm Episode 9, meaning he's either going to bring them back, or replace them with new boxes. The guy just needs to disappear already.
As for TLJ, I don't feel strongly either way. I absolutely hated TFA, although I softened my opinion recently when I finally rewatched it. Still not a huge fan. I do like Kylo. Disappointed they didn't try and do much anything new, and instead focused on a rehash of ESB/ROTJ. In terms of ranking, I'd place it above TFA and the prequels, but below all of the OT. I agree with the above posters regarding weapon/armor/ship designs. A step down in every way from the OT thus far. I do like Ren's TIE Fighter, though. Music has been lackluster compared to the prequels/OT no question.
The slapstick comedy, while funny in some parts, could be toned down a bit. It's cutting off some of the genuinely dramatic moments in these films. Mary Poppins Leia was absolutely baffling, and I am not sure why they didn't retcon the film to have her killed right then and there, particularly when Laura Dern's character took over for much of the film any way. Speaking of which, I hated her character, which I have seen some people misconstrue as sexism. I didn't hate her because she was a female character, I hated her because she had nothing to say but empty platitudes, rode Leia's coattails, and her entire plan for the Resistance amounted to "die slowly." The casino subplot and the ensuing class warfare/animal cruelty/arms dealing commentaries could have and should have been cut with little to no consequence. I'm glad Snoke was killed off, but annoyed that he was built up to be some kind of ancient power/supreme force user. Some people are talking like this is good filmmaking, but why should anyone become invested in these characters if the filmmakers themselves don't give two shits about character development?
It's salt.

My favorite custom VF-1 was a VF-111 Sundowners that someone had done years ago. It looked fantastic.

For anyone wondering, I can confirm that TFSource's MP-36 lacks the barrel plug. Their shipping packaging sucks, though, and my box was far below their so called "collector's grade." Nowhere near, in fact. I think it was bad enough that it caused my Megatron's face to have a slight scuff where the plastic shell pushed down onto the figure, but I can touch that up hopefully. Wouldn't purchase from them again unless absolutely necessary.

On mine the plug in the gun barrel was not glued in at all, pulled right out, almost fell out. The silencer was a different story, it was glued in rather well. I drilled a pilot hole through the center then managed to get it out with a pair of pliers. Got most of the glue residue off with goo gone after that. Annoying.

Which vendors did you guys use?

Can anyone speak to the ease of removal of the orange barrel plug for MP-36 Megatron? From what I'm reading, tfsource may be easier to remove when compared to BBTS. Anyone able to speak from experience?

Wow, that howling meteor looks great, definitely will pick that up. Will grab Skywarp and Thundercracker MP-11 just in case they are never made in the other mold. Thanks guys!
-
I'm not SURE I want the original releases - I just assumed they would be better under the assumption that the mold would have less wear/tear. Which releases are regarded as the best? I'm looking for MP-10 Convoy, MP-13 Soundwave, MP-11 Starscream, and MP-11 Thundercracker. The new Megatron looks killer as well.

The custom VE-1 with boosters and gunpod is my favorite as well. Looks mean.
