Roy will always be rereleased, that's a given. I'd guess if the Demand was high enough you'll see 1A Max come back since they're already doing HIkki. Hell, a simple repaint and we'd have Kaz as well. Yamato's not stupid. They only have a couple basic molds and as long as they can recolor them, then they'll keep re-releasing them (ie: 1A hikkie, Max, Cf, and I wish a Kaz, IS roy and hikkie and all the TV valks) the only things I don't see them re-releasing are these : The 1A Low viz (since it was released in a Limited edition, re-releasing this would really piss off the hard core collectors, who bought it under the premise it would be rare) The 1/60's (Because with the overwheming popularity of the 1/48's it would be stupid) the 1/72 Macross Plus (They've come a long way since then, and the only way you'll see another YF-19 is in the 1/48 scale, but that just might be my wishful thinking) The VF-0S (It might be reissued eventually but at least you know there's no repaint coming)

Well, I've since sold them off except for one, but at one time I 7 Devastators + another Mixmaster. That's 43 constructicons! I was really addicted to combiners when I was into TF's (i still have one of each) and here's the breakdown when it was at it's worse give or take a bot : 7 Devastators (and an extra Mixmaster) 5 Bruticus (and an extra Onslaught, Brawl, and Swindle) 5 Superions 3 Predakings (plus an extra Rampage and Tantrum) 3 Computrons 3 Defensors (plus an extra Hot Spot) 2 Menasors 2 Abominus (plus two extra Blot's and an extra Hungrr) 1 Piranacon That's for a combined total of : 173 Transformers, or 31 Gesalts. God I was sick.

Well what is it ? If your home is on fire, and you can only grab one item before it burns to the ground, what do you save? For me it's my AFA 85 graded Transformers pre-rub Hound my mother bought me for Christmas 2 years ago.

I hate the ugly ass valk. I see the first 1/48 that will be on clearance by Tisnic for under 90 bucks. Burn those damn things! Now the Stealth Valk is a thing of beauty. I love that valk, and I think it is the BEST looking 1/48 of them all. However the wanna be GI Joe vehicle needs to go.

Ok, the same guy I bought the 19 from is now selling a non-FP VF-11b for $75! How in the F**kin' hell sell a YF-19 unbroken for 50 and an 11b for 75?! I see NO logic in this!
-
Shipping was 7 bucks!
-
Nah, besides I can get a YF-21 anytime...
-
Funny. Now do I risk angering the Macross gods by putting my YF-19 up even swap for another Gundam PG kit?
-
Right?! Dude this has been like my WEEK!!! First I sell my evil Toynami MPC's for 500 bucks, thenI got the 1/48 Roy, and now a YF-19. The two I wanted more than anything! I'm on damn fire here!!! Next thing you know I'll end up with a low viz for under 150 (yeah right !) but really...I've spent 155 bucks and I've gotten a complete 1/48 Roy AND a YF-19! The Macross gods must LOVE me !
-
The only way it could have been sweeter is if it was a 2nd or game color edition. I've heard all about tab b and the hip problems in the 1st edition.
-
Now should I shell out 40 for the Yf-21 or not?!
-
That's the one!
-
I JUST BOUGHT A YAMATO YF-19 OFF OF EBAY FOR 50 BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Personally I'm all for Gundam markers for panel lines. But then I'm not much of a model builder really.
-
Ok I've put up a couple of these but now I got some money in paypal to play with since I sold all my MPC's off. Here's my final want list. To be clear, I'm not a perfectionist so I don't really care about minor wear, box condition, etc. All I ask is they are complete and unbroken. I'd like to not spend and arm and a leg here so the more fair you are with price, the more likely I am to buy it. Please include shipping in your pricing. Here is the list semi-prioritized: Yamato Super and Strike set. Display stands Yamato 1/48's (I just picked up a Roy, so anything but him) Yamato YF-21 (would like to spend 50 or under on it,unless it's FP version) Yamato YF-11b (would like to spend 50 or under on it,unless it's FP version) Yamato 1/48 GBP Bandai Custom YF-19 Firevalk Bandai Custom VF-17 Stealthvalk

I just ordered the Wing Zero and the Char Zaku today! Maybe I should say hell with the 1/48 and pick up the Zeta or the MkII titan.
-
I know, I clicked that link last night. As much as I want a 1/48, man I gotta build one of those. Actually strike that. I gotta build ALL of those. I just wish I could find pics of the Evangelion Perfect grade kit.
-
Let me know what you got for Gundam or Evangelion PG kits, in whatever shape. I'll even take built if they're done right. I don't need a Wing Gundam or Char's Zaku.
-
Oh yeah, and I haven't built a PG yet, but I do know the 1/100's are easy. I read a review of the PG's on starship modeler that say no glue or paint is required, but it helps in parts. They say the PG manual is easy to understand from pics so it doesn't matter that it's in Japanese, and if you pay attention then skill isn't a factor. In my expierience, here's what I found works for my 1/100's. Gundam markers: Fine tip black and grey, White, and the 6 marker weathering kit. Not hard to use, and the weathering adds little things like mud and rust that really make it look lifelike.
-
I've used gundam markers and they are truly awesome. The fine tip black and grey works wonders for panel lines. Strike Rouge ? That's so cool ! I want that one bad along with the Zeta PG (biggest of them all), but I decided that I want a Gundam Zero since I have one in every other scale, and there's no PG Deathscythe or heavy arms. Nice choice though!
-
Slightly off topic, but I've decided that in addition to the 1/48, I'm looking into Perfect Grade Gundam kits. What's the difference between Perfect and Master other than size, and is it worth it to buy one of those or should I just buy like 3 Master grade kits. And finally (I know I ask a lot of questions) has anyone checked out the Evangelion PG kit and how is it?
-
Ok, those of you following the Toynami thread know that I've put all my MPC's on ebay, and I'm going to buy a 1/48. I need help with a decision though. Here's the options I have and I really am having a lot of trouble. As I could go either way on any of them and be happy. I have no doubt I'll end up with all of them at some point but what should I do for now, as it might be a while before I get another one? VF-1S Roy w/Strike parts and stand (my favorite valk) VF-1S Hikaru w/Strike parts and clear pieces(I can get a great deal on this) VF-1J Stealth and stand (my favorite looking valk so far) VF-0S (I heard it's the size of a 1/48!)
-
I'm unimpressed. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great toy, but for the life of me I can't imagine spending 160 dollars on a 1/60. Maybe if it goes the way of the VE-1 and drops in price I might buy it. If I was going to spend that much I'd much rather buy the YF-19 or a 1/48 than that.

It\'s only cause she\'s slurmty. 388505 HEY! Those are fightin' words! 389186 I agree...a hot fighter pilot chick totally wins over a flight deck officer, or a crappy singer any day. That and the green hair is hot. Too bad there aren't real punk rock fighter pilot girls out there... 389200 Quick! Break out the pitchforks and light those torches! How is Miriya slurmty? 389232 Well, she did squeeze out a kid pretty quick, and she married Max awfully fast...but that's OK. I like slurms. If it wasn't for slurms most of us dorks wouldn't get laid, or we'd all be with fat girls.
