I didn't get the VF-31A I ordered from NY too. I ordered a few units for myself and friends back in 2017, the day after pre-order opened. The toy came out in March 2018. I waited till January 2019 for NY to fulfill my orders but they couldn't commit to it. I cancelled a part of it in November 2018 and the rest in January 2019. Routine followups also resulted in the same scripted response and they kept offering refunds. so I caved in. I had to accept store credit since it was more than a year since the payment was made. The worst part was, as I recall, how the VF-31A was in stock at a mark up weeks after I cancelled mine. Maybe a coincidence?

I don't give them as much business as I used to because of that incident due to financial decisions but there are other alternatives. My experience contradicts some of the statements made here but that VF-31A debacle was the one time NY couldn't deliver.

Hello guys. It's been 7 years since I worked on this and we even have the Masterfile for the VF-11 coming out soon. I've had a few requests to share the 3d model of the VF-11B so I've decided to release it. Please note that I'm not good at modelling/texturing nor do I have the patience for it. This was a one-time thing that I somehow managed to pull off so don't be alarmed by the messy model and shoddy textures. The 3d model is in 3ds max 2012 format with Vray materials and the Macross Plus VF-11B color scheme textures are included in this archived file. I'm not sure where I put the low-vis scheme used in the animations. The rigs I used are intact but they're basic at most. Please do not re-upload it to any commercial sites like Turbosquid or use it for a commercial product/service of any kind. Have fun.

I just refunded my Kairos last month because I was tired of waiting as well so to find it available now kinda stings. I'm not going to rely on NY alone for the armoured parts.

Eh. Isn't the Chuck variant supposed to be web exclusive? I hope it's not a general release. I won't be around to order it. :O

Same here. The new items never show up as results but they do once they reach 'Order Stop' status. This wasn't the case before.

It's sold out at NY though. I got to the last page and it sold out.

If any of you bought multiple units from NY, you might want to consider bargaining with NY to reduce the order to 1 unit. I was told by customer support that I'd have a better chance of having it fulfilled compared to waiting for the full order which apparently might take up till the end of the year.

I didn't expect it to sell out this fast when many people were skipping it.

I got the same reply as well except this time, they didn't make any mention of stock or if they're trying to get more.

Edit: I pressed them for more info and they've reiterated that they still don't know when they'll be getting stock.

Where I'm from, that's how scammers start their business. They offer the lowest prices to attract attention, deliver a few orders to build some trust and when the order book gets sizeable enough, they disappear.

I'm not saying NY is a scam. I'm just pointing out that lower prices are common in the shady business.

I opted for the refund, they gave me store credit, and well guess what? you can't use your store credit on existing pre-orders.  You can only use your store credit on new orders.  Complete NY bologna.  NY has had poor Customer Service for this 31A debacle, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt, hopefully if my remaining orders get fulfilled I will be done with this store.  After a couple of hours of contemplating on the fact that you can't use your store credit on existing preorders, I decide to purchase a Bandai Metal Build Gundam just to recoup my cash in some form, so that I can begin to cut ties with NY.  Come to find out you can't use your store credit for an item that is less then store credit SMDH, more NY bologna.  I had to trick their system, and add more items to make the price above the store credit, and then remove the additional items in order to make it work. 

With all the bologna that NY has fed me I'm done with them, and will no longer recommend them to anyone.  My new advice would be to stay away from NY. 

That's the dumbest thing I've heard in a while. So now I can't just clear my pre-orders before cutting them off but I have to continue giving them business just to recoup my money and that means it'll take up to 6 months till another new item is released. The worst part is how I used a discount voucher on the purchase and no way NY is going to give that back.

Well at least it's now the '3rd different' message that we're aware they've been sending. (I've only contacted them twice, once after a week and another a week after that...)

The wording has changed slightly, they've added a "yet": They don't have an expected delivery timeline 'yet'.

'Maybe' they're still sure that they are expecting 'some' (the more time the less likely I can see them receiving everything)

Anyways, another week down and absolutely no progress whatsoever. Monday will be week 4 .I still don't get how long they expect to wait for. And not sure why they haven't cancelled everything already unless they really have some kind of hope. As I was saying previously they were maybe just waiting for the PayPal Protections to end on most so they wouldn't have to refund in cash?

Either that or as someone had mentioned a while back.The 'people/proxies' who bought for them just ended up keeping the orders? Only the ones ordered by staff members actually got sent? I'm still having some issues with that possibility but at that stage.

We'll see on Monday. Nothing else to anyways, and I can't even cave in anymore having purposely bought other stuff worth total more than ¥45000 just so that I wouldn't be tempted :-(

• It's not the wording I'm concerned about but how they're using a script to reply to my enquiry, regardless of the actual question. 

I sent a followup to NY asking how they're actually fulfilling orders and I got the same verbatim reply that has nothing to do with my question. At this point, I'm convinced NY isn't bothered at all. They're just sending the same reply to everyone. I'd say I was disappointed, but I don't think the word is sufficient. This might be a repeat of what everyone's saying but I'd like to add my name to the list as well.

Could be BS, but, but if it was, I hope they would've just apologised and refunded right after the call rather than stalling yet again.

Unless..... they discreetly follow up on this thread and knew that it would' cause a mass 'refund-request' frenzy 

Still looks like they are sending one a day if that. Great and all...but at that rate, it'll take months! We're still on the 7th October orders! No to mention all the dupe orders that have been put on the back-burner...Truly hope that the rhythm picks up IF/WHEN they ever receive that mysterious delivery form Bandai (as if Bandai would send them a crate of 100 or more TWE ....).

Anyways, had enough of all that crap. To ease the stressing out a bit and think of something else, went and spent some $$$. No, not a Kairos (nor anything Macross). Wouldn't touch this VF with a barge pole at its current value, would make me feel like a complete moron if I caved in at ¥40000 or whatever. Either NY delivers or that's it for this DX. 

A conspiracy theory would be that they do have someone spying on this forum.  It seems 1 fulfillment a day is enough to keep us at bay.

Honestly I’m not that optimistic. Hence I took the leap to buy it at USD418. If it pops up again at mandarake at 35k Yen I will buy it without a moment of hesitation. 

But I still hope NY gives us good news on Monday by starting to ship out or at least processing all of their pending 31A orders 

It's actually been more than 3 weeks. The toy came out on the 15th.

No doubt I wouldn't be prioritized but the extra units I ordered were for friends and they seem to be willing to wait so I'll give NY another week.
