thanks all. Why did they go for cheap when they 1st came out. I have seen pictures of them completed and they truly look like a million bucks IMHO.

I was thinking, perhaps the reason its so delayed is that perhaps they are debating just skiping the 1/72 scale and making it 1/60th or 1/48th

adly my best advice is to stick the thing back in the box. keep it if you want it for collector value, sell it if you just want a perfect YF-19 cause yamato is making a resculpt.

Ditto. Now all I have to do is find something to use as a stand so I can display it in flight with the radar array on the bottom fully deployed. I know someone around here [sithlord maybe] sells really cool stands periodically that work great displaying complex things off the ground. GO throuh the "for sale" section a few pages and I'm sure you will find it. I need to get one myself as it's the only way I'll ever be able to display my violator valk in fighter mode LOL. Dude your violator valk scares me... huh?

Thanks for the responses all, its settled for me they are staying, again only the redundant ones going into deep storage. Though I am considering doing away with my old non-fastpacked focker 1/60th. oh and before I get wild PM's asking for it, if I do get rid of it its going to a friend for a reduced price.

Well I came up with a good justification for you all who are still strugling with whether or not you should get the 1/48th VF-1S Hicky. You get all wraped into one, a perfected VF-1S and a perfected Hikaru VF-1. No radon nose troubles, no flap problems and the small amount of paint cracking found on the Hikaru will be a non issues with matt paint being used not enameled. So empty you wallets folks!!!! Also final Justification, its a 1/48 and yamato needs your money to make you a GBP armor and a stamped valk

When the new YF-19 resculpt comes back show them that. I'll bet you'll get the argument..... "buhhhhhhh....... well....... its not a transformer it sucks" <_<

Buy the VE-1 if they make it into a 1/48 sell it off to some one who wants one but can't afford the 1/48. I think I'll be keeping all my 1/60ths. Though the ones that have 1/48 counterparts that I own will be going into deep storage.
