I don't know, that head looks alot like classic sideswipes head to me.

Placed my preorder with will for Prime. Not a fan of the other two. Not seen anyone mention placing a preorder for the Viper

Neither the Viper or Smokescreen impress me that much. If I get one of the other characters it have to have a decent robot mode. Hopefully Jazz, Bumblebee and Megatron won't suck. 

What!?!?! What does it take to impress you. You say the bot modes suck? Okay on the sideswipe I can possibly see people not liking it, but the smokescreen looks practically identical to a Datzun in bot mode but better proportioned and articulated. Go play with armada or energon and then say your not impressed with Alternators <_<

knowing that the first run is going to have its problems, why would anyone throw down the money to get more than one of them? 

your impatience will only hurt your pockets and leave you pissed that something was wrong....with ALL of them.

i have just ONE on order cause i know how yamato operates.  they'll get hit with alot of feedback from us and other mac fans, then release a 2nd run version with the corrections and then a third with more corrections.  i like that yamato does this, instead of leaving a crappy item out in the market.

me, i know the deal with yamato and their quick release, no QC, what problems? we want more money attitude...my getting just the one was a mistake but i too have a naked valk.  when they run a 2nd or 3rd release, thats when i'll pick up some multiples and that when most if not all problems will be fixed.

i'm not trying to start an arguement with one but a review from a few people before purchase would be the logical choice.

also these fast packs are not variable toys. They are an accessories pack. I really doubt they will have many if any QC problems considering, I was only going to get one myself but I got to cause I decided to take advantage of kevins get to no shipping deal.

have enough information from our distributors about availability and

Why is this? is it cause its to early for HLJ to accept pre-orders? I notice on their site most of the stuff beyond 11/02 is not offered a preorder option. Why not? why don't they accept pre-orders when everyone else is? Anyway I tossed in my towel with BBTS, I was gonna get more than one prime so I may place an order with hlj as well for my second batch just in case (I'm paranoid so sue me).

truth is..... is hasbro at fault or is it the general populous of the fans. Hasbro sticks out this crap, the fans cheer....... Sheesh..... If the fans openly hated it hasbro would change..... if the fans said no we want them to look more like alternators hasbro would change.... instead I fear alternators will languish for being to expensive and to complex next to these POS's. Stupidity rules. What else can I say.

hmmmmmm, this would certainly have to be skyfire and not jetfire, cause all you transformer experts will have to note, in the comic jetfire was built on earth, while skyfire counted as an ancient cybertronian.

wanna know your thoughts people, should I be a loyal HLJ customer and wait for them to accept pre-orders or be a traitor and run off to BBTs, I mean I know BBTs is a great place and all as I have heard so many overwealmingly positive responses towards it. Anyone know why HLJ isn't accepting pre-orders yet?

they just posted the Sideswipe and you can't preorder that yet, the smokescreen has been up for weeks.

That´s a lot of toys , Yamato could release all the cannon fodder variants first and then the characters variants.

bandai and aioshima do a great job on the enameling of their Chogokin lines, it would take some serious efforts to chip these. Bandai must use the same kinda paint technique they use on cars with the quality finish they get Still I checked the polls people seem pretty excited universally bout alternators and the MP prime. the poll for do you love the MP prime was a staggering 67 positive to a 6 negative.

WTF, I was over at TFW2005 and people were refering to Diecast as fragil, were gonna get hasbro versions of alternators cause they wanted sturdy plastic not fragil diecast, what are the people over there smoking? How can you call diecast toys, things you could bludgon people to death with fragile?!?

The thing I fear is stupid people giving lousy reviews toy alternators calling them to complex or fragile. This happened to the only decent set of minicons the street team. They had good Transforamtions and looked okay but people blasted them for being to fragile. I don't mind bricks as long as they look good, like good old G1 series 1 - 3. Hell actually I liked the armada prime (yeah I'm a freak sue me). But this new energon stuff just blows. Yes its made for kids but thats no excuse for it to suck. You can make stuff with simple transformations and still make it look good. Look back at the old G1 prime (come on folks admit it his transformation is pretty simple) but it was still nice and it worked well his bot and trailer mode looking great.

What is the over all reaction to alternators? If people are more excited about Energon my faith in humanity is utterly crushed.

Already had the GameCube import. Link was well designed and of the three characters, he's the only one that possible fits (since he's a.) not from Earth and b.) is constantly reborn in various times). It's a shame they couldn't have used medieval Spawn, but he's both not as popular as Spawn and his license isn't in McFarlane's hands. I also think it would've been nice had Heihachi been his ancestor...so there could've been some historical feud between his family and Yoshimitsu's.

I may wind up picking up the X-Box version just to have a slightly prettier version (and have Lizardmen, etc unlocked in a stable way). Plus I hear some of the English dubbing is horrible, which is always fun. I personally want a Soul Calibur game where everyone speaks their native language and except for those from the same country and maybe a select few, everyone's response is basically "I didn't understand anything you just said! Die!"
