I'm officially part of the club! Arrived at my doorstep today after a weird 10 day handling time. First hands on, this thing is A M A Z I N G. I thought I understood the hype, but now I really understand. Cant wait for the super parts! EDIT: Realizing now how disheveled it is in this photo, but it's the only one I took that came out clear in the lighting

After seeing the availability on FJ for all the other variants, I firmly believe we'll all be able to get a Roy when released. I only wish I knew about FJ sooner, cause 10 day handling times are spooky and scalpers scalp.

I ordered off of ebay 2 weeks ago and the seller has created a shipping label, but still has not given the item to fedex. I asked last week, he said "this weekend". I asked again tonight, he said this weekend. Should I just cancel this and order off of From Japan for my Hikaru 1S, or wait till the sept 3rd delivery date even though I paid extra shipping after the fact to get the item sooner?

Hopefully they'll make a run for the ELINT Seeker and super ostrich which both seem pretty commonly made molds. I'd also like to see a 1D model, and the regular gray/brown military scheme

Up till 5am last night. Hit the hay cause it didn't seem like anything was gonna happen, and I miss the Roy shot lol. I'm keeping my eye on play-asia I'll post if it goes up and i can catch it

I was psychicly bullied into buying this stuff. About a year ago i encountered a "robotech" toynami 1/100 in a random geek theme shop, and decided i didnt have the cash for it at the time. I used to have one, but my old job stole it from me. I was never much impressed with the build quality, but nonetheless, i'm a macross fan since as long as i could remember, and just having some form of macross toy made me happy. The point: fast forward to about 3 weeks ago, I'm tormented by recurring dreams that I'm searching through endless toy shops looking for any macross toy i can find just to have one, lol, but its a nightmare, i always have to leave the store empty handed. I decided enough is enough, and i have to finally pick up a good VF-1. Research lead me to find the dx would satiate all my desires and not fall apart like the toynami, and conveniently its all coming out pretty recently, which is cool. Now im over 500 deep into my first real collectors pieces and i couldnt be happier. Hopefully the dreams stop.

I'll say. I started my night trying to hunt down a DX Roy that was ballpark close to the pre-order prices I have seen, and ended up finding out about these TV parts and going on a goose chase for em.

Ordered from Okini, no time to wait around on proxies. Stoked for this! Now I just have to wait for my shipping info on my 1S to be updated since i ordered ebay for way too much before i knew about any of these japan sites.

Popping in just to ask. What's the big diff between TV parts and DYRL parts other than trading missles for the gun? Lastly, please help a bro out with a link for where to look for the pre order on this. After 10 years of wishing, i finally took the dive into a DYRL hikaru VF1S and I think the missles + strike parts would look superb on it, especially if I can find the set at a fair price. I can pay marked up prices for a figure, but have a much harder time doing it for accessories.
