Tried pushing on the hinges but it’s not moving, unless I’m pushing on the wrong thing

it feels tighter when I connect the intakes to it but still has a little gap, not sure if that’s normal.

Hey fellas, I also asked this in the newbie thread but I thought I can get quicker reply here, I’m trying to get my new hi-metal elintseeker to fighter mode but I can’t get the  cockpit to seat flush even with the “hinge” connected. Help please.. been trying for the last 2 hours but can’t seem to figure it out. Thanks  it’s my first time trying to transform one of these
