the flashbacks could also be artistic license, as the dyrl movie would have been more well known circa 2067, what was interesting was him namedropping that the ancient pc song(dyrl) was actually used in the final battle. i imagine what actually happened to be an amalgam of what we saw in SDFtv and DYRL, but with the dyrl design aesthetic taking precedence. also i liked how they brought up the sharon apple incident in more detail, something 7 and plus really didnt touch too much on other than a small reference or two. My gut feeling despite Berger saying that lady M was someone who has been researching song tech since space war I, is that lady M is myung. Im sure she had a lot of input on how sharon was designed along with the effects sharon had on people were somewhat similar to the mind control from songs displayed in delta var aside. How good is the build quality on the Mac F kits? is it near Gundam MG quality or slightly below. im thinking of picking up one.

If your serious about learning japanese, i also highly recomend getting a denshi jisho. its an expensive investment, although for the nintendo ds you can buy one realtively cheaply. its pretty good aside from not having that many words as a dedicated denshi jiisho. Ive studied japanese for about 3 years class wise, im far from fluent, but atleast i can hold a conversation lol.

I dont know, but the whole next-gen BDI/BDS and strange inertia vector control system, and internal fold capablity reaks to me of a general galaxy product. im guessing that squadron of 27s is from galaxy likely there elite force, since its mentioned in the intro the primary focus of the galaxy is to develop advanced technology.

i think theres plenty of material for there to be a second season, hell im sure haruhi would have been 26 eps, for not kyoto digimation already being booked for kanon(which we dont really need the remake for, considering its not that old). i think haruhi deserves a second season. it would be a good thing, some series actually improve with the second season, for instance fmp:fumofu, the sequil to full metal panic, was argueablly much better than fmp. Another series in sorely need of a second season would be genshiken, Kujin unbalance series my ass... but thats another thread.

Just finshed watching ep 6. and all i have to say is what a waste of friggin time. but in the end, it didnt rape my childhood that badly. the whole last ep felt kind of pointless, cept for the very end, which leaves us back at square 1 more or less.
