They're too busy and have way too much going on.  While it's more a sign of the times it was animated in, there's something clean and elegant about the original Cyclone design.

The female blue one Typhoon is ok but I agree the other two male ones are just too much

I remember when PO first went up, the wait time to release was unusually long.. but now suddenly it is almost here haha.

    Got my shipping notice today!

  3. So I got the reissue version and now I’m understanding what the fit issues are. Jebus…..  anyway been fiddling with it for a while and the only way I can get the legs/intake and cabin areas to seat properly is to have the head popped up and not flush. I can’t get the head to sit flush without pushing everything else down below. FrustratingIMG_2554.jpeg.797aecf1f5a4e9ee3f86158831a743ee.jpeg

This is the biggest mystery on why it exists lol.. It just looks so out of place, even more so on Gerwalk / Battroid, and the aesthetics of it look like its kitbashed out of something else.

At least for the huge gun we know it's sort of influenced by the Windermerean 262s.. although I don't recall the movie explaining anything on that.

Has anyone tried modifying the pod?  I don’t have a 31AX so I don’t know how integrated the thermometer piece is on the pod but is there a way to like get rid of it or would that completely destroy the pod?

I clicked on this link and it reserved the pre-order to another person and it had my email address but different ship/bill address. I notified the site owner of the breach.

Gundamit I think is some sort of mirror page for ShowZstore. I preordered for something else on showZ and didn’t have any issues

Yeah, I appreciate what Styrofoam does for box stability. Lots of toys have come in Styrofoam without yellowing for a long time (Takatoku for example). I wonder if it's just something new about how Styrofoam is made? Maybe it's also Styrofoam + something else (like heat) that's the issue.

Plastics “bleed” out stabilizing agents over time, and even though it’s at a very very slow rate those chemicals can react with oxygen and also the chemicals in styrofoam.  ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is the main culprit. ABS is combustible, but cheap so manufacturers use it to save money. To deal with the combustibility of ABS, they include flame retardants in the plastic mixture. One of the chemicals that is used frequently is Bromine. Bromine reacts with the UV rays and oxygen in the air. A chemical reaction starts and continues indefinitely until the plastic has changed color.  Exposure to high heat can also exacerbate this since it’s thermal oxidation.
