Do we expect Bogue to be free of the QC issues present on Hayate?

Unlikely as of now. Bandai will just print them and tell us to pound sand. If you notice the pics that are available are really good about hiding the undercarriage where the issues are.

Still no updates on the metal structure Sazabi?

The one thing we all want and Bandai wont drop that pre order. I think we are all over the Exia, Strike, and Red/Blue/Gold frame releases at this point.

Gotcha. Might be a long wait for a MB NU. Wallets sighs relief but then again when it does come out....its gonna be even more...😰

Just ask Carlsylar or David , they are going to order 3 to 5 at a time and Im sure they will have an extra

    How so?

Easy. They take pictures and throw up a listing on their website, even before we have release dates or confirmed pricing.

they are hustling a Metal Structure Sazabi and we don’t have a release date or price on that thing yet

But if we follow Bandai's current release logic, they still have to release 5 variants of Dynames before we see anything new in the 00 series. I'm not willing to hold out that long.

The sad part is your are probably right.

they will have just the dynames for sale , the backpack sold separately now , then an add on rifle , then a re release of dynames without the backpack and then a re release of dynames but with a small change to the box or a Trans-Am dynames.

Bandais milking the franchise has made it hard to stay in this hobby as they re release the same products while the quality control goes lower and lower

I hope the Metal Build line steers clear of SEED, 00, and Crossbone UC timelines...  We've had enough already.. MOVE ON!

No , we need them to finish the 00 series with a Kyrios , virtue , Nadleh or Dynames sniper version.

with our luck the turds at Bandai are going to release the basic Strike for the 6th time. Meanwhile I’m still over here waiting for an MB Heavy Arms, DeathScythe or 8th MS set

Bandai announced the next MGEX (extreme!!!!!) model kit... The Strike Freedom.

Unlike the last entry (Unicorn) which focused on LED Lighting, this entry will focus on the "extreme expression of metal" (presumably just the inner frame.)

I wonder if Bandai is testing a new market that merges the best of the Metal figure lines and Gunpla again following the somewhat HiRes flops.

    https://bandai-hobby.net/site/mgex/

It’s probably metal frame with metal trim. The Chinese 3rd party market has been making metal frames for Gunpla for years now. They also have metal inserts and metal trim. Bandai just realized they are losing money and trying to fix it

Thanks! So that means paying $30-40 more towards BBTS.

So it's basically $340-360 total shipped from Japan against BBTS' $360 + $4 + CA Tax.

Guess, I'll keep my Japan order then. ;)

The other overlooked issue here is BBTS shipping. BBTS is behind the curve like P Bandai. So after it drops you’ll get a shipping notification in 6-8 weeks. I normally try to save BBTS as a last resort for that reason . They will deliver though, I’ve never had any issues with them.

Yeah, I wouldn't say that display from Bandai (I've seen that) was a tease they were going to do a re-print. It's Bandai......

    smile:D

My understanding was just that it was a display to showcase alongside the Metal Structure Sazabi. I dont know where the reprint/re release rumors came from.

Sqidd buy that MS Nu in the Marketplace , it comes with Fin Funnels too

wow, the production colors look absolutely terrible compared to the promo shots. I'm seriously regretting ordering one now.

All the Astraeas were that way. The Proton Launcher model was a weird white with some off white that wasnt shown during pre order . The Type F was shown as a bright vivid red but we got a slightly faded red and two tone shields. Honestly Im not too surprised the Type X didnt live up to the color it was portrayed but its still a cool looking design with sniper rifle and helmet included.

Given how many pristine toys from the 80s came in Styrofoam, I'm pretty skeptical. At the very least, outgassing Styrofoam is a distant third to other environmental hazards, particularly heat. It's possible today's plastic is more susceptible to outgassing, or that today's Styrofoam outgasses more, but I think the fact Styrofoam isn't completely inert leads to it getting faulted for plastic's natural degradation (which is itself sometimes hurried by variances in production).

you dont think they made a better quality styrofoam back in the day? It seems like styrofoam is made by the cheapest bidders these days.

I believe the theory is that styrofoam will gradually let out gases over time that will contribute to yellowing.  Always depends on many factors, but this is why I've kept my styrofoam-packed valks wrapped in plastic as well.  Who knows if that'll help any, but it can't hurt.

multiple hobby shops on youtube have basically said the same thing. They said have your figure in enough plastic to allow the gas to go around/over the figure. Another point that was brought up was moisture/humidity for those non A/C houses and probably Florida lol.
