I"m in for an Arcadia SDF-1 adapter too. I'll be ordering 2-3 more stands on top of that. I just have to get my arrangement set up first and then finalize it. Yeti, Are you doing any adapters for the Sentinel Mospeada 1/12 figures that just launched? Example stands:

I have two small kids and animals. My stuff is in my garage (man cave) behind glass too.

Here is another video. It's Chinese, but atleast this time they have only cool background music. Also, is shows the installation of a few sprue pieces (covering screw holes). I just ordered this via NY. What a costly few weeks it has been.

It's in Chinese, but it's the only video I could find. They do a nice job of comparing the other version as well. Its nice to see scale here along with the florescent paint.

Any pictures after installing everything?

Anyone think this will sell out in the next week or so? I will order soon, but want to see some video reviews first. I'm wanting to go with NY. Thoughts?

What stand is that? I'm digging that ship!

Stands looks nice, but I hope Yeti makes an adapter for this guy. I'm guessing it will require two alpha stands. It'll look really great with his stands! Can't wait for that! Yes they do package their items very well which is why some of the customer service issues get a slight pass and overlooked most of the time. Their shipping is more, but the end total is usually less than the competition. I guess add it up any way you want as long as the end result is less than the rest.

Anyone on here order from NY and have any issues with their SDF-1 other than that one guy that was missing his bridge? NY has it about $30 cheaper than HLJ. I have ordered from both with no issues at all. I know HLJ has way better customer service vs NY's. For, the fellow missing your bridge has NY fixed this or acknowledged it or are you at a loss?

Good information from the both of you. I didn't personally want this on my part to turn into a rant because its not I was just curious on how others live. My wife loves her purses and coffee. Last Christmas I bought her a nice professional grade espresso machine. Guess what? Hardly used lol. It just sits there. I can't complain because my figures just literally stand there too. We all have to do what makes us happy. I guess in a way maybe we like getting that death stare or snickers from our wives/loved ones. Maybe its that subconscious acceptance we need? Almost like collecting is taboo therefore we love it more?

I'd say neither. I get my items here faster than I would at home. They are here at work before noon and at home it would be towards 7-8pm. In the past it use to be to hide my items from the wife and or not hear or feel her blank stare like I"m doing something wrong. I don't get it. I don't drink, smoke, I dont go to the club or party. I spend most of my time if not all at home hanging with my kids and pets and working on the house + working out. I coach my kids sports teams. I think its a jealousy issue that for one we are spending time with our toys and most importantly big money is spent, but not on them (not that I don't or we don't go out as well because we do). My wife doesn't have any hobbies at all. I'd love to hear from the female collectors on here or the guys that actually have their wives/gf's support their hobbies. It would be interesting to hear from the female collectors that have their husbands/bf's that don't support them and give them the evil eye lol

I do the same and that constantly happens to me. Today for instance is Monday and guess what? I received 2 boxes of goodies that were set to arrive Saturday lol. On a positive note I look at it as something to look forward to on a dreadful Monday.

Great job. This has me really thinking. I like the waterslide idea for the lights instead of the fluorescent paint. Best deal I can find is $388 shipped to USA brand new. Decisions...

Ya, materials add up. I"m trying to weigh in on the time and materials needed vs just shelling out. I"m not trying to be cheap as I love to take on projects of my own. These days I prefer my toys stock and done at the factory vs doing them myself. Not only for the quality, but time is a huge factor for me. I was just curious what others have done in the past or currently. I do appreciate your input.

On that note has anyone taken the regular release and decked it out with pl and paint, etc..?

Would it be worth it to buy the regular release and add the fluorescent paint yourself along with paneling lining and stickers if you choose to? Those that have both is that doable? Or is the quality too good and getting those options from the factory worth the extra $200?

I think I prefer it stock or just with the silver paint removed from the inside. The visor still has the lines, but its transparent enough to see his face and still with a slight blue tint. To each their own.

In the cartoon Rei didn't have any tampos on his suit and Stig did. I'm guessing because Rei just grabbed that random bike from the ship in the first episode and his old bike was destroyed be the invid. Wheres Stig's suit was given to him as an officer, or it could just have been done that way to have Stig stick out among the others. Either way this guy looks awesome! Especially the face/head sculpt. I do wish Rei came with some goggles though

I heard the Yamato version 2's were hard to get. So you're saying these guys aren't really sought after then?
