Man, how the turn tables. A couple years ago I got really miffed at HLJ when they wouldn't let me extend a Private Warehouse item by less than 1 day to save on shipping. I had already paid for 1 item, and a preorder I had was set to release the same day the first item's period expired. I emailed them and explained that the window was super close and asked for an extension. They refused and explained that it was "automated" and there was nothing they could do. I realize they have a system, and that it was posted for everyone to read and agree to, and that I was asking for an exception, but I swear on my eyeballs the preorder became available within 2 hours of them charging me to ship the first item. Thank you

That's good to know. My wife and I have USAA for our cars and we were looking to switch to them for our home insurance as well. If they can help with covering my collection, that would be great! Did USAA handle the transaction, or did they give you the contact info and you called the 3rd party/affiliated company? Thank you

This doesn't help at all, but in the late '90s in Boston I bought a 1/55 Strike Valk in an Elintseeker box from a brick & mortar shop that specialized in Japanese toys. It came in a big batch of stuff the owner had just imported. There were a couple other 1/55s and the owner had no idea why the Strike toy was in the VE box. Thank you

For whatever it's worth, I just did a quick survey of 4 other HMR Macross boxes and they all said "Illustrated by". This one says "Photo & Illustrated by". Thank you

Thanks folks. It is in great shape. (knock on wood) I was burned by one years ago that was supposed to be "complete" but arrived with armor broken in 4 places. I was so nervous about this one I filmed myself receiving the package from the mail carrier, then opening it and inspecting the toy - just in case something was amiss. Thank you

It was a good weekend. On Friday I got a 1/55 Super Ostrich after hunting on and off for 25 years or so. (And then on Sunday I finally got to see Guitar Wolf after trying unsuccessfully for nearly 20 years) Thank you

I got the "preparing the order" notice today. I preordered 2 Defenders back in April. Last weekish I got the payment due email, but I mistakenly had it in my head that 8/11 was the deadline. The deadline was actually the 9th so they cancelled my order. The email was in Spanish for some unknown reason. When I saw that my order was nixed, I went in and ordered 2 more and paid for them. They accepted the order and it will apparently ship soon. It was an odd series of events, but hopefully the Defenders will show up soon without any more shenanigans. Thank you
