Absolutely fantastic! With the VF-1S head that will be great. Another person wondering if this will be available and at what price.

I just finished my version of this 2 days ago but I tried copying WMChengs design. I would love a canopy as well so add me to your list if you decide that you can make up a batch. I havent glued my canopy on yet. Great work so far and I love the different paint scheme!

I think that if there are no illustrations available for areas, then MechTech has full authority to CREATE the area himself just as any artist would have. This is after all just fiction. I say that whatever MechTech creates is what the area WILL look like. Why leave it up to the original illustrators? An artist is an artist. Do whatever you like in areas that have no real data and it WILL be the data to go by. Congrats on a great model Mechtech! Your hull design was astonishing. I build 1/96 scale warships all the time. Nice work so far! Keep up with the posts!

I am interested in a YF-19 and 21 but its all about the price in the end. 1/48 is great and should be able to get all the details mentioned. I'll wait to see some pics and the price but you can put me on the "interested" list for sure.

I've been watching this post since it began. Extremely nice work. The thing definitely needs the name of Monster. I dont know where I would put that thing. I dont think it would fit in a standard glass cabinet. Great price for this kit.

Thanks for the info. I have not tried this future trick. I'll give it a go and see what happens. The canopy that I have was created using clear resin I think. So it has a frosted look. I can probably use thermal plastic sheet and mold a new one from it, but I'd thought I'd just ask and see if anyone had one first.

I have a 1/72 VF-2ss macross II valk and I need a clear canopy. The one that came with the kit is a little frosted. Does anyone out there have a canopy? I cant wait to post my first kit on here but cant until I get a better part.
