Really like that 31C's head. Probably it's the best of the 31s. Not really sold on that color though.... Hmm, what to do, buy now, think later? 31F is my first macross toy purchase, don't even have that yet and I'm already thinking about buying more. This place is a bad influence lol.

Yeah it's a bummer about that price, they actually tack on a finder's fees on that for the auction site to take a cut, plus shipping on top. Does anyone know what are the odds of getting one on release with the JPN MSRP?

Sigh, new SKU preorder coming already in a week, meanwhile I still can't get a 31F preorder. FML.

Is there a reason why amazon.co.jp doesn't carry any of this? All the macross chogokins there are from 3rd party sellers. Is quite annoying having to check multiple sites daily only to find no stock. Why create this kind of artificial scarcity?

Are the pics thus far indicative of what the final product will look like? I'm really liking the matte finish I've seen so far on the VF31s. It makes the 29s' shiny plastic look like a cheap knock off.

Like that colour scheme, especially that boss skull leader paint job on the back, but not a huge fan of that head. That long blue paint provides no contrast to the "eyes" and the whole thing look like angry blue slits. :/ I kind of wish this had the head of VF-31S.

Do they ever overlap in product lines in their prior release history?

Is there a method to the madness as to what gets reissued? Are YF29 reissue for the Alto, or any other variant, out of the question now that VF31 is being released in Dec? Really don't want to pay a 50 to 100% mark up and I'm not really digging the VF31s.
