If it's so rusted that you can't even break it down I would suggest not shooting it even after you get it cleaned up. The strucural integrity may be comprimised. Then you might have to change your name to StumpysRage. That is if it doesn't kill you.
Cell phones and tele-cofrencing are what killed the Concorde. Business men no longer need to fly across the Atlantic at a moments notice to seal thier deals. Just like everything else that sucks in the world I blame Bill Gates.
I snatched this pic from the Associated Press
Is it your first handgun? If so, get a .22 and learn to shoot the right way.
yeah, until now, all i've had have been rifles:
.22
30-06
7mm
i wanted a little change up.
The Ruger Mark II is a great pistol to start on.
Not everyone buys guns with the intention of shooting people. I keep a Colt model M .32cal just for farting around cause it's fun to shoot. On the street I carry my PT-99 9mm or my Glock 30 .45ACP.
I always thought that the army. air force and marines all came together to make the UN Spacy and that's why it's referred to as the "joint forces". Of course I'm usually wrong about these sort of things.
I think the .380 is just an automatic version .38 calibur round. The 9mm is about .36 calibur. Personally I don't like .380 but I hear that the Bersa Thunder is a real nice piece.

You're probably thinking of the AK-74, adopted in 1974,which fires a 5.45 mm. round. It is easily distinguished by it's orange bakelite mags. It really has nothing to do with range or accuracy it's more about the number of rounds a soldier can carry.
Nope, Bush flew the F-102...when he felt like showing up, that is.
CROM laughs at your bad political humor!
Umm... that must mean it's funny if Crom laughed?
Oh yeah, my god can beat up your god anyday.
ALL HAIL THE GREAT CTHULU!
The OV-10 also has the advantage of being able to carry ordinace of its own (4x .30 cals and various rockets) as well as 5 trooper. It could also be converted into a flying ambulance. Very cool if you ask me.
In Richmond we have a surplus store that is half military surplus and half office furniture and they always have awesome stuff cheap. The only drawback is that it's in the hood. I'd suggest going through your yellow pages and seeing if you have a similar place.
here's thier site if your bored.

I hate shotguns but the thing about pistols is that they have too much penetrating power. You may end up killing someone in the next room by accident no matter how well trained you are.
I work in bail enforcement and I carry my 9mm with me everywhere I go. I keep my mags loaded with standard FMJs but the round in the chamber is rubber. The few times I've been forced to fire that one rubber bullet has been sufficient to incapacitate the target without messy wrongful death lawsuits as it shows that my intent was not to kill. (I don't get paid unless I bring them back alive) Even if the rubber bullet doesn't do the job I know that I have 15 FMJs that will.
