  1. Are you bored of looking at your 48s holding that same old grey cigar? Well I so am I present to you... Bloody chainsaw Valk
  2. Ahh its nothing that cool. It's just a swanked up AK.
  3. Hikaru was intrigued by your query. Here's thr result.
  4. I think the dihedral (thanks for adding a new word to my vocab.) would look better if they were more vertical with the trailing edge straight and the leading edge angled back , sort of like a WW2 era "sparrow" wing. What I really had in mind was for you to do is to make the wings and the belly into one continious piece with the body giving the apperance of a lifting body and the wings as a kind of wing/rudder combo deal. Obviosly I'm not an engineer so I'm just going for something that looks cool and a little odd which you can work into your story as the reason for the need to replace them, they're too extreme to be practical.
  5. I get that reaction alot. I drew you a picture.
  6. I think you should ditch the bottom wing, move the top wing to the bottom keping the upward tilt and flatten the bottom the meet the wings making one big lifting surface. and a single caanard sticking straight down just behind the missile tubes or whatever those thigs are.
  7. worked for me. took the pic out since Dat beat me to it.
  8. actualy a new style of "Bolt On" armor has been developed by a canadian man that can withstand a dirrect hit from an explosion with the force of a standard RPG-7 round. the armor tested was reminicant of a Couch coushin and is soft armor, but it was straped to a car door and was fired at, all that happend was the door was dented and the "Bag" remainded intact. said armor was alsi fired at with several small arms from handguns up to an M82A1 "Light Fifty" .50 call rifle. and no round managed to penatrate the "Bag" Yeah, but how practical is it? How much weight does it add and how many repeated or multiple silmultaneious impacts can it withstand? RPGs are super cheap and easy to deploy is mass numbers. Even a retard could figure out how to fire one.

    Takatoku fix

It souds like you could probably slip a washer in between the screw head and the shaved bit and be okay.
  10. The problem with a military application of a scopedog type mech is that a single RPG would ruin it's day. It would be impossible with current tecnology to make armor strong and light enough to protect it and due to it's upright nature the armor couldn't be sloped enough to deflect the rocket. I think the stuff the military's messing with is more akin to the power-lifter thing from Aliens.
  11. It's #127. It may only be on digital, but if you don't have digital you should get it . It's totally worth the $10 extra.

    Takatoku fix

It's kind of a C shape on one side and flat on the other. It may be possible to rebuild it, I've never tried. My main concern would be the fact that it's under alot of tension from the spring. On a good note, the ratcheting part is seperate from the shoulder so if you can rebuild the C shaped piece it should still work. I took some pics that should hopefully help you see the parts and how they relate to each other.
  13. Do you have any friends that live in Chesterfield? Comcast has it.

    Takatoku fix

Since the screw is still in attached I'd say you'll probably need a new shoulder. The little piece that holds it on is probably broken. Here's a crappy pic that might help.
  15. Works fine for me. http://www.anime.net/macross/
  16. The National Weather Service is your friend. http://www.wbuf.noaa.gov/tempfc.htm
  17. If all you want to now is if your disks are legit, look at the center of the bottom around the hole. They all have some little codes that reference either Macross or Animeiogo.
  18. In a thread awhile back it was determined that there was more than one Kakizaki green VF-1A. As well as red and yellow 1As. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...topic=11440&hl=
  19. But if just one DVD gets copied, then the terrorists win. Can we afford to let that happen? Doesn't god also kill a kitten each time a DVD gets copied as well? Graham what can i say? im a cat killer. oh i just killed your cat. its only piracy when you do it on a pirate ship AAARRRGGGHHH matey, square the tops'ls and warm up the burner.
  20. But if just one DVD gets copied, then the terrorists win. Can we afford to let that happen? Doesn't god also kill a kitten each time a DVD gets copied as well? Graham Nah, but we "cretins" do. for thr record I've never even been to Crete.
  21. I wouldn't put anything plastic in the attic. The temperatures up there can be quite extreme. Empty boxes should be OK though.
  22. Because some people still have a functioning sense of ethics and aren't scum who rip off the companies who create and make available the anime we enjoy, you cretin. Don't give me that PC ethics horseshit. I may be an un-ethical cretin but at least I don't have to resort to calling people names.
  23. I'm all for copying. Once you buy it it's yours to do with as you please. If Animeigo doesn't like it, they shouldn't have sold it to me. That being said, I would never sell the copies but I've considered making copies to keep and selling the originals. Pesonally I don't understand why people care so much about copyrights, unless they're the holders of such copyrights.
  24. That's funny, I had the exact opposite reaction. I really didn't want to see it but I loved every minute. What's odd is that I watch it everytime I catch it on TV but I've never even considered buying the DVD.
