It seems anytime HG gets involved with things of a financial nature, it goes pear-shaped with dismal regularity...

Nice job! *Pengbuzz scribbles down yet another model to scratch up after the ES-11S*

At the rate they rook over customers, I'm surprised that NY is even still in business.

I used the hot glue technique for my custom 1/6 Master Chief figure from Halo 4: Note: sorry for the necropost folks; it took me a bit to finish this!

I don't know if the Minmei Defense would work against all of the Main Fleets; I recall Seto Kaiba saying something about it not, unless my memory needs another RAM card or two... -
I only ever worked on such an item once, and it was a repair job for one that had come apart. A friend of mine had won an auction on FB for a Razor's Crest 3D printed ship from The Mandalorian (scaled to fit the 4" figures, I'm guessing from the size of it), and one of the engine nozzles "de-laminated" (for lack of a better term). Not only is it a pain to sand, but I would think that if not printed properly, it would run a pretty good chance of falling apart!

I wonder if they filmed parts 1 and two together, or if they are working on 2 now?

Yeah, Future/ Pledge can be a bit tricky; I haven't used it for some years now due to cost and availability.

In other words, Kyle Reese's dissertation from The Terminator should suffice here (substituting the Zentraedi Main Fleet for the Terminator in this instance): "Listen, and understand. That Main Fleet is out there! It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop... ever, until you are dead!" -
^THIS.

Sounds like the Eaglemoss collection can be pretty hit or miss....

Sounds like it would be a mini-project then to develop some poly-cap based joints that didn't flop around. I might just have to look into seeing about getting one for my next b-day for a project to work on.

Out of everyone I can think of, he'd be the most logical choice and best qualified, IMO.

Could 80's city pop still work for future Macross shows/movies?

Nope; I simply cut small "v"'s out of the corners and folded them in: I'll be refining them as I go, using cardboard edging to sharpen and achieve the beveled look. Still have to get the disk and supporting arms done, and start refinement work overall on the wings and body. Cockpit and pilots are going in somewhere during that time (which should be pretty soon-ish). As a general note: this model is still in "Phase 1" initial forming mode, before I step into "Phase 2" refinement mode. "Phase 3" will be detailing and adjustments for the final look before the "Phase 4" paint and final detail mode. (Yeah, I get bored and create new terms for my work! )

UPDATE: Wing engine nacelles installed. Need to contour and detail them when the hot melt glue cures:
-
Ah, gotcha. My mistake. Still a nightmare to consider, given that one fleet alone practically glassed Earth.

UPDATE:
-
All it takes is the appearance of a Zentraedi Main Fleet (one of millions, as you've previously mentioned), and everything goes into instant panic mode. I wouldhave to suspect, given even money here, that someone in the Zentran command structure (whatever that is at the moment) might be wondering why Bodolza hasn't checked in for some time now...

Thanks! So far, it's just from the blueprints really. I still need to reinforce the nose to lengthen it, develop the wings and engine nacelles on the, and add the tail and winglets. After that, it's on to the radome and struts.
