  1. Catching back up on some of the diecast 1/100 jets I missed. Usually these sold out instantly even on PO, due to no one else having made them at this scale before. Convair F-106A Delta Dart.
  2. Oh wow I looked up Anbernic.. such a great way to play old games from any system. I'm already happy to play emulators on PC, but to do it on a purpose-built mobile hardware makes me excited all over again. I think the Switch has really moved the posts forward on how we game, and now there's more attempts to do that with (almost) full-fledged systems like the Steam Deck & to lesser extend the PS Portal.
  3. I gotta agree. I love this line of figures.
  4. Now that the main schemes for HMR VF-0 are almost done, I hope Bandai doesn't abandon Macross Zero in this line and continue on to say, the SV-51. It'll be great if they surprise us with the destroids from Zero though. Sometimes struggle to decide which effect I like when editing the pics. Here's a couple of same ones as above but with an additional layer of texture.
  5. For a heavily re-interpreted item, this Moshow Cyclone has made the transition from grey prototype to colour in both modes much better than say, the Unix Square Transforming VF-1. But the rider itself is the one that looks weird - face, overall body sculpt.
  6. Tomica Limited Autobacs Super GT 2005 Arta NSX, and Tomica Premium Nissan RPS13 SilEighty.
  7. Finally some pics of Moshow Cyclone in ride-armor mode:
  8. The translation is cool and great to know.
  9. Well I'm just basing it on the HMR Regults, where except for the Zentraedi insignia at the forehead, all the markings and tattoos are different between the 3 variants, so it makes each of them slightly more unique & interesting. (Pic borrowed from Anymoon.com)
  10. Wow seriously Bandai? 2 consecutive blunders in a row, on DX's no less? Don't have a Yamato Ostrich, but the tail on DX with large surface area on a now fixed small connection point is just a terrible idea. Sorry to hear this @Shawn @Radioguy. And since its officially a Japan-only item, the chance of official support is really up to the seller in Japan to get replacements. Judging by nature of break it doesn't look like it's a swappable part, so even if seller somehow manages to get support, the whole item likely needs to be sent in for exchange.
  11. Haha it was confusing when the grey prototypes were shown previously, and still confusing now with the colored ones. ‘Hen Dou Ryoku’ is the transforming line of VF-1, and are the ones with the heavily reinterpreted sculpt & Vf-2SS influence. The other line is named ‘A//Action’ and are non-transforming action figures. Individual figures for each mode, with a more traditional VF-1 sculpt. Though as mentioned some time back, other than Battroid, I don’t know how much ‘action’ Fighter can be. I’m thinking it might be better if all 3-modes are bundled into a set instead of each mode being sold separately, but Unix Square hasn’t indicated yet how they will be sold or price.
  12. Looking at the packaging, it appears KC is releasing the Artillery Battlepods first, though it looks like all Battlepods will have same box art, with the Artillery ones having a sticker saying so. Based on the ToysTV video posted in Kids Logic thread, the Zentraedi soldier is nowhere to be seen. So still in development.. Another info out of the video is that KC’s also considering bundling all 3 pods for a price of HKD 2000, although not sure if it includes the soldier. One thing I noticed, is that all pods have the same tattoo & markings. If I remember, the normal pod is supposed to have different markings from the Artillery ones just like the HMR Regults. KC’s initial pics on the product page show a difference between both, but now when I go back and look at the pages, they all now have the same tattoos. The missile packs will be the sole differentiating factor.
  13. And now the 3rd copy went at Yen 50k. That escalated fast..
  14. First DX VT-1 sold at Mandarake, Yen 45k: https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1267644507&lang=en
  15. Not only is there a big gap between the intake and chest plate, but the angle of the whole nose looks really weird. I get that they want to it such the crotch sticks out a bit in Battroid, but in Fighter the nose pointing more upwards than usual just reminds me of a wasp's arse.
  16. Over at FB, one of the US-based sellers who just received stocks is saying Bandai USA gives an 8-month warranty on the YF-21, with implication that they will replace in case anyone’s got a bent head laser. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/PXnQzLysUYUtqhak/?mibextid=K35XfP Meanwhile, I do hope anyone who got bent head lasers from JP will get replacement from their vendors. Just want to know their response vs HLJ’s. The latter has been quite unhelpful in this situation.
  17. The bike now in colour actually looks nice.
  18. Most of my Sentinel Ride Armors are still unplayed, except for when I took out Stick when it was first released. Hope to find time & space for all of them soon..
  19. Nice to see more progress on that huge Legioss. Looks like Pose+ has iterated more on it to allow exposed details on certain parts. Still no word on pricing though.
  20. Hmm the video for Unix Square actually starts slightly earlier at just after the 1 hour 10min mark.. and the 2nd set of video & pics actually refer to KC instead. Nice to see Roy's 1S being painted up too, but other than the design for these Transforming VF-1 looking very busy, the worst aspects of it are the knee joints looking awfully thin & weedy. The grey mold at the center of the Transforming VF-1 display piques some interest - it looks like a VF-1 wearing Tomahawk armor. So I guess this is what they meant by 'future release of unique armor accessories' in their earlier FB post. No doubt this idea is inspired by the earlier mash-up done by R-Area, but Unix Square's execution look a bit meh. Just not feeling the whole thing.
