The only Gundam show I've watched is Gundam Wing, but after being at Japan a seing Gundam merch all over the place, I feel like watching another Gundam show.
Which ones would you recommend?
Gundam Origin is a good way to get into the Universal Century series. I would recommend reading the mangas if you can, I haven't watch the anime yet. 8th MS Team, War in the Pocket, and Stardust Memory are a must. Zeta Gundam and Char's Counter attack are good, but you should watch the Origin or the original Gundam Series to get the most out of them. Victory Gundam and F91 are also very good (F91 more so).
Gundam 00 is great as a stand alone series. G Gundam and Gundam X are worth a watch but aren't as good as Gundam 00 in my opinion.

At this point I just want a Calamity War movie or OVA, there's a much more interesting story hidden in the past we've yet to see.
I would love for them to do the Calamity War. Start at the beginning and depending on how long the war was supposed to be do some time jumps highlighting the progress. I think there is some real potential there that other gundam series haven't touched on. It would be awesome if season 2 ends with a cliff hanger and season 3 is the Calamity War. Then they could have some plot device during the Calamity War that would concluded the series in the fourth season.
Ahhh, wishful thinking.

I wonder if IBO has reached that level of popularity...
None of the alternate universes (non-UC) have had more than two series and an OVA/movie, except for Seed. I believe you are right that Seed is very popular in Japan, like Gundam Wing in the States. And the separate UC series (original Gundam, Zeta, ZZ, Victory) only did two seasons. I would say the Universal Century has several series and each series was two seasons or less.

The Draken looks great but the transformation is something else.
I am definitely waiting to transform it until Jenius has a video posted. Any chance you could do transformation video to and from fighter mode?

So we have three episodes left and they have a ton of stuff to wrap up. I am almost expecting a three season from this series. Tekkadan have to survive/escape the Gjallarhorn fleet, most likely with Mika crushing most of the mobile suits and trashing the Barbatos. I think McGillis is going to turn on the Tekkadan in some way and Gaelio has unfinished business with him.
Even if Tekkadan/McGillis survives this initial wave on Mars they have to deal with Rustal and Julia. Not sure how they are going to give the series a satisfying conclusion in three episodes.

The Arcadia SV-51 Ivanov is supposed to be a new mold...
I hope so, I have seen reviews of the floppy Yamato version. I honestly think Arcadia needs to step their designs and include some ratchet joints.

Where did you pick your Scorponok from? I have it pre-ordered through The Chosen Prime but they are getting their shipment at the end of March.
Thank you for that scale picture because damn I did not know it was that big. I need more shelf space.

This one might be abit off-topic but for future release, which one would you guys buy first? The Arcadia SV-51 Ivanov custom or the DX Chogokin Draken III Ba version?
For me I would consider the latest releases by Arcadia and Bandai. Arcadia re-released the VF-1 and there haven't been many QC issues. But for a re-release it was very pricey, it is the exact same mold Yamato V2 mold as far as know. I would think the cost of not having to develop a new mold would have lowered the price.
On the other hand Bandai's VF-31 is stellar and set a new standard. The ratcheting hip joints are an amazing addition and make a world of difference. Assuming that Bandai uses ratcheting hips on the Draken I would lean toward them.

I keep going back and forth on him. Haven't convinced myself to pull the trigger.
I am waiting for a review or two before I decide. If he goes on a good sale for $30 or $45 then I would probably pick Venom up.

Spoiler
What did Julieta throw at Shino? When I watch the episode it looked like right arm but then in recent episode she still has it.
Did I miss something?

Not Figuarts but I pre-ordered Revoltech Spider-Gwen as well.
I am tempted to pre-order the Venom Revoltech. I looks cool but $60 for Revoltech is kinda expensive.

Looks like a nice option set. I will be picking that up, hopefully it won't be P-Bandai. I wonder if Bandai will do a recolor with Harrison Martin scheme?

MHToyshop has it up for pre-order $224.99 ,
i havent shop from them before so can say if they are good or not.
I bought a Figma from them recently and they were a very good store. They responded to my emails and shipping packaging was excellent. The only thing I didn't like was non-refundable pre-order.

Personally I would love to see a Metal Build EZ-8, GP-01 Full Burnern, or Alex Gundam with the removable armor. I am actually surprised they haven't done a Hi-Nu Gundam. It is a popular suit a main character pilots. I can see why they haven't done a RX-78, its been so many times already but the Hi-Nu seems like a guaranteed winner. It would be nice if they moved away from Seed and 00 for awhile. If Bandai did a Metal Build Stirke Noir I would pick it up, maybe a Justice. I can't think of any other suits they would do for Metal Build.

I would be very surprised if they didn't do Barbatos vs. Beal.
I thought for sure Shino was going to kill Rustal and then McGillis was going to turn on Tekkadan.

Damn it, I am going to end up buying this....

. I haven't watch Mazinger and don't know much about the history with the mecha. But I have always been drawn to Mazinkaiser despite the lack of connection to the character. Now I don't know if I should hunt down a Sentinel Mazinkaiser or wait for this one.

Xabungle just bumped Bubble Gum Crisis out of my "what to watch next" playlist... only like 15 episodes of Dougram left.
Are you watching Dougram because of the HMR release?

Yeah, the Metal Build pre-order opened and closed so fast I didn't get a notification.

I am hoping they do the GBP with that dark colored valk and some GBP missile effects to go with it.

Just got this beauty in the mail from MH Toyshop.
This is my second figma, my first was Guyver 1 and I am very impressed by the finish of these figures. Great paint, sculpt, and articulation.
And I would also recommend MHtoyshop.com. $8.00 flat rate and the packaging is top notch. Tissue paper around the figure itself, then bubble wrap, and packaging paper.

I like the revoltech and marvel legends figures better. That texture seems to be added to all the higher end spider-man figures for some reason.
