The thing is they should all come tapooed as a standard release like bandai's dxs and hi-metals.

That is an excellent point. I fail to see why a Hi-Metal R super pack has the kite or crossbones applied but Arcadia's don't. I think it would be easier at the larger scales verses the small scale figures.

  2. Well damn it, going to have to get the premium finish. Thats going to be fun trying to get it into the house without the wife noticing. She doesn't have a problem with this hobby but I bet the price would do it.

It looks so good, I am going to be up at 2 am pre-ordering the silly thing. I hope HLJ will be carrying it.

Justice was the best Gundam in SEED which is why Bandai evidently hates the design.

Justice was an awesome design and it took Bandai long enough to release a damn Master Grade. I wonder if they can use the base of the Metal Build Freedom for a Justice? That would be amazing to see. The only thing I don't like with the Justice is the color. The purple-ish color is ok but I feel a brighter purple would have been better.

And it makes sense that they would make one base to be used for Exia, 00 Riser, and Quanta. The base suit design is consistent with variations on the armor. I imagine after the Quanta and the eventual exclusive trans am Quanta they will move away from 00 suits. I can't see Bandai making Metal Build figures of the other hero suits.

I would love a Metal Build Hi-Nu Gundam and Sazabi since they did F91. I still need to get a Metal Build Exia.

Revealing the next Metal Build release.

Looking how the panel can be removed makes me think if there's going to be a Full Quantum Burst Mode as Tamashii Web Exclusive.

It sure made my blood boiling.

Very cool! I will definitely be picking up the Metal Build Quant. Now I just need to find a Metal Build Exia and secure the Seven Sword/G Metal Build next week. This week is going to be painful slow waiting for the Seven Sword/G to be released. It is one of my favorite suit deigns from 00 even if it wasn't in the anime. I like it much better that the 00 Raiser. I imagine they are going to release an exclusive Full Saber option set after the announcement.

Has that third party Quant been released? It would be interesting to compare the third party and the Bandai version when it is released.

VERY happy right now, came home to this absolute holy grail, the Chogokin GX-72 Megazord! Once again, I waited for the US Bluefin release, I really wanted my US packaging like with Voltron.

If you like the regular release you should try to find the SKL Final Count ver. It is an excellent figure. The SRC line is really good and I love all the figures I have from the line.

Interesting, this didn't go up at HLJ. At least I can't find it, even using their Advance Search option.

I want to pick one up since I have the Hi Resolution Barbatos (still unbuilt, just sitting in the box).

    -b.

HLJ should have it up this week. Their pre-order usually go up one or two days after other sites like NY or Hobby Search.

    Not bad.

I wonder if they went with this color to have some variety with the Destroids? Maybe the felt the screen color was too close to the Defender and wouldn't stand out?

I am getting three of the Tomahawk. And if they do a tan re-coloring I will get three of those also. It is one of my favorite mech designs.

What are people's opinions about the quality of a GFF Metal Composite gundam?

Do you prefer them over the Metal Build gundam line?

My preference are the Metal Build gundams. I have handled GFFMC and Metal Builds, and to me the Metal Builds feel alot sturdier. The plastic seems stronger and able to be pose without a fear of breaking. And the weight with the Metal Builds is amazing, we are paying a lot for those figures but they feel worth it. The GFFMC are nice, no question, but to me they have less play value. They seem like they are going to break if handled too much. The plastic quality also seems thinner.

Has anyone else noticed that or is it just me?

No3Ljm does make a good point with each line they have specific suits and they haven't crossed. Metal Builds have done Seed and 00 suits were as GFFMC has done mostly U.C suits, F91 being the exception. So if you like the Wing Gundam GFFMC, buy it. I doubt it will come out as a Metal Build. I would have preferred it as a Metal Build myself but I am definitely pre-ordering it.

Not unless they fix that color scheme.  The Tomahawk's supposed to be military tan, not lilac grey!

    ...so what's Bandai's problem?

Personally I don't mind the lilac grey. It still looks great and I am so excited for a 1/100 Tomahawk. It is my favorite destroid and will be getting three of them.
