    They're shipping a day or so early, which realistically doesn't matter much in the end because no one is getting 0 day shipping. Their actual shipping time isn't that bad either, usually stuff goes out same day as long as I throw out the shipping request not long after it's paid for. Since that 5-6 AM for them is 3-4 PM for me, that's not hard to pull off. Even with saturday releases and shipping requests stuff is usually out the door by noon for them and out of the country by midnight that night or 6 AM the following day.

    HLJ released it exactly on time though. Release date for the VF-2SS Nexx was November 10th. Their stock roll-over happens right at around midnight their time, then around 5-6 in the morning their time the payment requests/charges go out. That's just how they do things, in my experience that's how they've done things for a while. They broke it for the October 27th Bandai stuff for some reason, with it all going live a day earlier than it was supposed to, but in general they keep to release date.

    Those really were some glorious days. I ended up with a PG Wing Gundam Zero Custom from Amazon for like $35 dollars.

    The last few recent Macross HMRs were pretty much available everywhere for at least a month and rather shelfwarming at release-time, and even discounted lower than the PO-pricing. 

     

    The VF-2SS releases both sold out rather quickly and have stayed sold out. It's the VF-1 2-seaters and VF-1A Hikaru that never really sold out. Given the relatively small amount of VF-4 merch it's more probable for it to turn into a feeding frenzy compared to the recent VF-1 releases.

    Guren SEITEN to go with my Lancelot Albion. I missed out on the original Robot Damashii releases, and these figures are pretty much the easiest way to get them at the moment, without paying too much.

    And Gundam Love Phantom, because I love what was done with the design. They made Gundam Deathscythe out of Strike Freedom with a Noir Striker backpack. That’s the sort of “Gunpla is Freedom” that the Build series of shows is great for.

    Where did you get the idea that it costs $300? It's 12,960 jpy IIRC, or roughly $115.

    That's most higher end toys now though. Figuarts, Robot Damashii, and Figma prices have been climbing for years now. I'm genuinely surprised it's not the 15k jpy price point the VF-2s are at.

    I'm wondering if this new War Machine is expensive enough for Bluefin to release him roughly around that TWE price. IW Hulk was like that, no extra accessory, but he also isn't a TWE item.

    Should be. For Iron Man mk 50 and Iron Spider they just threw in that exact same stand to justify the higher price.

    Real-time chat across multiple text channels and voice channels, ease of sub-categories for discussion of specific subjects. So you could have an Arcadia channel, HMR channel, all-other-anime channel, Gundam channel, etc. It's in theory set up for use by gaming groups, clans, etc but it's taken over Skype's role as a general text and voice chat platform for social groups.
