  1. So apparently there's signs that they raided the Metal Club/Muscle Bear/whatever headquarters, but not their warehouse, and some stock is still getting out. As for if that means the company itself is going to survive, who knows but supposedly orders for stock are still being fulfilled to some degree for the moment. The Avalanche Exia MB KO might even have managed to squeak by before the raid.

I bought a couple of HMR CFs used.  One is fine, but one of them had been opened, and I got two non-hardpoint right wings, and no left wing with hard points.  Is it possible this is a Bandai error (has this happened to anyone else), or is this on the seller?  I know Bandai messed up with the DYRL Hikaru 1A leg armors, but I don't recall there being an issue with the CF release.

It's possible. They also might have accidentally put the wrong wing in if they had multiple opened ones. It's worth contacting them to see if that's the case. Seems like an easy problem to fix if that's the case.

Thoroughly enjoyed the series and how well developed the characters were especially Ashoka.  Pity we do not see more of her afterwards but I suppose they can always make a standalone movie for her.

She's a notable part of the later seasons of Rebels as well, which is well worth watching after dealing with its own growing pains like Clone Wars did.

If you're still wondering what Cristobal Rios's ship La Sirena looks like, it's been added to Star Trek Online. There's a forward 3/4 view at the top of the announcement post, plan and profile in the middle, and an aft 3/4 view at the end -- keep scrolling past the other 23 ships. Under game-style lighting conditions, three rows of windows are visible -- upper edge of the central hull, and along the flanks. (I'm still wondering what function is served by those pontoon/prongs, since they're not the warp nacelles, and are too narrow for cargo.)

It's scaled up to be a viable ingame ship, with changes to windows and such to match.

It's not the combination stand. I have some of those as well and they are preferable in certain situations. It's definitely a mechanics stand and it comes with less pieces than before. I thought I still had an original mechanics stand box for reference but I couldn't locate it. I did however find a humanoid for comparison. The original humanoid and mechanics were the same box with different inserts.

Huh. That's REALLY damn weird. Were they still the same price or was it at least cheaper? Because on HLJ the listings are now noting they're sets of 2, but the price is also 1k, marked down to 800jpy, when IIRC they used to be 1.5k.

I never thought I would get a GM Cannon let alone two different styles. It's nice the African Campaign Type comes with a GM type beam rifle as well. Still waiting for a White Dingos version though.

Also anyone know when the Tamashii stands became 2 per pack? I swear both the mechanic and humanoid used be 3 per.

The act combination stands are 2 per pack, the act 4/5 stands should still be 3 per pack. If those got reduced it's pretty weird.

I think all other forms of shipping are unfortunately not safe from delay other than DHL/Fed Ex. I had 3 different shipments from Manda and CDJ using DHL and there were no issues. If the difference isn't that great and you want it, these 2 are the better options.

I'll vouch for DHL. Not much more expensive than EMS for me for items from HLJ and they get to my doorstep in like two days flat instead of the roughly week long trip for EMS. Notably the last shipment was just at the end of last month and it arrived with no issues either.

  8. I ended up using one of the stands that the Glaug, Regult, and missile sets come with plus some extra arms from other stand sets to do two VF-2SS units and all 8 bits they come with.

If it works like other Coronaviruses it will start kicking back up again in October/November.  If it becomes as big a problem then as it is now then (I can't think of any term harsh enough that would make it through the naughty language filter).  First up we should have herd immunity by then and second off we should have testing for it so it can be tracked better.

There doesn't seem to be a notable seasonal component to it so far.

My real concern is the re-occurrence of the virus after the national knockdowns begin to be lifted.  More people will begin to travel again and you all know what that may lead to.  As far as virus mutation...  We all could luck out and it could just mutate into a form that no longer affects humans.  But I'm not usually that lucky...  :unknw:

Worth noting that in study so far the virus shows signs of mutating very slowly. So it's not likely to spontaneously change and screw us over all over again.

Thirteen. Or do we not speak of the parallel universe?

Oh, right. No, I just legit forgot about 'em in the moment. And I actually like those, aside Into Darkness screwing itself over by pandering so hard to WoK fans. But, well, the sort of people that are hating on Discovery and Picard are the sort that aren't going to like the Kelvin Universe movies anyways.

  12. The number of people in this thread that seem to be hatewatching is kind of weird, honestly. If you have this much contempt for the show just turn it off. Discovery turned into something decent, Picard was decent even if not amazing, and there's like 3 more shows coming on top of, what, 28 seasons of existing Star Trek to watch beyond that and 10 movies?

Not really. The sleeve changes, the guy doesn't. I think I and a lot of others agree that then guy changed.

Maybe I should have rewatched season 1 before hand but, eh. Seemed fine to me, still. Dude had hope, had a fixation, and had clearly been at it a little while.

I guess with all the factories mainly in china, a lot of toys will be delayed due to corvid-19, hope we can overcome it soon and everything will go back to normal

Specifically, the Red Frame Kai is delayed until "after April" with HLJ and Amazon.co.jp both saying May currently. The MRD Shinkiro got delayed until March 28th, and a bunch of other stuff has been pushed back at least a month for Bandai, along with several delays got GSC. It's likely going to hit pretty much every toy manufacturer, honestly.

Next episode is the halfway point in Star Trek: Picard's first - and, great bird of the galaxy willing, only - season

It already got a second season approved.

The producers of this series ought to expect a visitation from the vengeful ghost of Gene Roddenberry, The Grudge-style. :girl_devil:

Roddenberry would probably be wondering where his check was and not much more, honestly. And if his TNG era ideas are anything to go by, let alone the bullshit he did during TOS' production, he wouldn't have room to speak anyways.
